Please, Green made a mistake. But notice Green didn't give Pop ANY AT UDE. Imagine someone like JR Smith getting yelled out like that.

Manu committed an even worse foul on Dirk in 2006. like this happens some time. But at least Green is coach able and doesn't give his coach at ude.

I play professional basketball!!! ..West Memphis, Arkansas born and raised but Texas and Toronto living!!

    From his twitter bio:

Looks like he wouldn't mind a prolonged stay in the Texas (San Antonio) area.

Anyone in favor of a Parker/Belinelli backcourt obviously does not watch Spurs games. That backcourt was one of the biggest fails by Pop last season.
also add in anytime splitter and bonner were on the floor together. The splitter/bonner and parker/bellinelli duos should never be on the floor at the same time. With all 4 of them on the floor is by far the worst team in the league.

Don't disagree just don't think it will be based on accounting for injuries. But Danny Green is all the rage right now & I have a feeling there is some serious market adjustment coming for players like him & teams wanting to lock them in.
Despite his elite 3-D game, I also think some teams -contenders or WC rival- will offer Danny a big-nearly max deal to weaken the Spurs' depth.

Because if the Spurs try hard to match those expensive offers or even increase their own offer in order to retain Green, they would have less money to spend on backups/bench, or they could be compromising future cap space and flexibility.

If the Spurs can't sign Danny, they would lose an integral part of the best perimeter defensive duo in the league.

A win-win situation for a rival like the Mavs.

Well in all honesty he was not nearly as bad in 014 as he was last year, the contract didn't look AS bad then but now it looks pretty bad seeing that extra step he lost and his mileage (Plus he will play this summer). The contract is bad.

Danny could have gone somewhere else last time when teams were offering him more. So I think he has some loyalty.

Kris Middleton, make it happen. At only 23, he has the type of game to replace him. Otherwise I'm not sure. Belinelli is not a starting type player.

smh @ posters that think our SG needs to be a creator and scorer. Just doesn't ing fit the current system for the Spurs. Leonard might as well not get any touches if Green were to be an efficient scorer. You don't ditch Green because he doesn't fit that criteria, you keep him for his elite defense (even with his mistakes) especially against opposing PGs which he is the best in the league at.

we lost in the 1st ing round because our SG wasn't a creator. When our star PG is turned ty we NEED A CREATOR. why the you think we lost then???

it's no coincidence that Pop chose Marco over Green most of the series. One trick Pony was a liability and a big reason we lost the series.

we don't need no SG creator

sure. but nobody is going to trade for Porker. We are stuck with Porker starting PG. so we need a playmaking SG, not a statue

We actually won the games where our SG was a scorer playmaker - enter Patty, enter Marco. When they went away, so did chances of Spurs winning.
