Would be great if its true that Manu will be in the meeting! Manu and Duncan could emphasize to Aldridge that they are willing to come back at a discounted price.....Welcome to the Spurs Aldridge!
word on the streets is that Timmy D packed a few boxes of Magic The Gathering

The Aldridge meeting will last about 1 hour, it'll be intense with the Spurs selling the future, team concepts and what they envision the roster to look like. After a tense few minutes of silence Aldridge confirms, okay guys the Spurs is where I want to be but I gotta finish these interviews as a formality. Everyone smiles and nods and then Duncan breaks out the boxes.. "Now that this silliness is over lets get down to some real business"
Not saying it's truth. Just saying what they're saying:

When rumors first appeared about Aldridge planning to join a different team, the Spurs and then the Mavericks were reported to be his first choices. New reports suggest that has changed. As history has proven, it's impossible to count out the Lakers, who despite some bad seasons remain a free agency destination. So let's explore this rumor closely.
Why Aldridge will join the Lakers
As Bolch says, the Lakers' brand is too prestigious to be hurt by a couple of bad seasons. They are a storied franchise with a history of success that will always be among the best free agent destinations. For someone who has spent the first nine years of his career in a relatively small market like Portland, the exposure and endorsement opportunities that could come with playing in Los Angeles have to be tempting.
Looks like the SSF (Spurs Special Forces) will be on their way to LA right now..
That article is from 2 days ago and besides I would rather trust Woj, Marc Stein, and David Aldridge..
My outlook calendar has it for 4pm but I can speak for you if you can't be there.
Mah always lookin out![]()
' Proud socialist' oh brother what a dip
Or preferably he cancels most or all his remaining sit downs, informing the other suitors he doesn't want to waste their time and will be joining THE SAN ANTONIO SPURS!!!!![]()
Not sure if posted, but supposedly Manu might be there
Anyone know what time they are supposed to meet?
Was wondering this myself. Maybe it's a 9AM thing
wonder what they are gonna eat?
And more waiting.... ugh.
I think they are meeting at noon time LA time so 2PM in SA.
And probably even longer to hear something. Unless the Aldridge camp says anything- you won't hear the Spurs leaking any signifcant information.
SPLITTER HAS BEEN TRADED!!!!!!
Splitter traded to hawks. its happening
I haven't seen the Spurs this aggressive before in chasing someone.
