I can't imagine they think they're keeping him with the moves they have made this week.
I'm already ready (is that redundant?) for this to be over with, regardless of the outcome![]()

Yeah I don't get the additions of the roster for Portland being a positive for LA, I mean aminu, plums? It'll be money if he decides to go back.
LaMarcus: "Will you pass me the ball?"Kobe: "No"
I know the extra money with Portland is appealing but with the moves the Blazers have made example trading Batum and replacing him with Aminu and probably loosing Matthews....Me thinks they are assuming LA is walking..
That was Popovich to Michael Finley.
If he really wants to go play with Aminu while Lollard gets all the endorsements, maybe he shouldn't be a Spur, tbh...
I think it's hilarious, Kobe is the ultimate Laker killer!
Looks like Houston would have to trade a lot of players to create space without taking back any contracts. Spurs are already there.
lol, he'll announce in the next week. STAY CALM ALL!
Amnu is a nice defensive player, but you need to score to keep up with the teams in the west.
Twitter is having a field day with the newest Kobe/Lakers LMA stuff.
Delusional Kobe doing the Spurs a favor. He still thinks he's a superstar in need of a sidekick.
Thanks, Kobes.
Imagine getting into a bidding war over Monroe if Aldridge signed with Portland.
Moves could make sense if Aldridge told the Blazers he didn't like Batum. *shrugs*
At least he left out the part where he says he would "teach him how to be a champion."
I'm just waiting for the inevitable 'Aldridge re-signs with Portland on a max contract' tweet from Woj and the ensuing apocalyptic meltdown of epic proportions that will occur here immediately after.
Woj just said on Fox Sports 1 that LMA was blown away by the Spurs pitch and reiterated that the Spurs remain the front-runners for him.
That's just so dang funny! Steve smith stated it sucks that Kobe gets this amount of blame all the time and I'm like well yeah it's because he's got the is persona that he still is the best. Lakers won't be good until he leaves, Laker fans better hope to God he doesn't become apart of upper management when he finally does retire
They'd have to move Howard to Portland.
I'm an idiot.

Don't know why, but I have a sneaky feeling he's going to stay in Portland. Pretty sure they're meeting with him last, and of course they'll be able to offer him the most money. Feel like he might go into that meeting thinking Spurs, but get swayed at the last minute and decide to stay in Portland.
