Jabari Young still believes it's the Spurs

@JLang839: @JabariJYoung Not hearing much anymore about Spurs as front runners for LMA. You still think he ends up in SA after all this?
    @JabariJYoung: @JLang839 yup
@JabariJYoung: @JLang839 and I am sure Pop probably told him to take his time and do his due diligence. He chooses SA, great. If not, wish him luck
That does seem like a very Pop-ian thing to say.

Do you guys think Manu hasn't said anything yet because he's waiting to see if that diva makes his/her decision first?

Aldridge's camp had said that the Spurs really impressed him with a powerful presentation, just by keeping it simple. I imagine Pop said things like "I'm not going to insult your intelligence" and "look around, and if you still think there's a better option, then take it."

There's a big psychological advantage to taking that route.

I'm quite certain he's in the loop. The Spurs don't leak.

The flip side of all this is maybe pop told him to be sure and get all his questions answered, don't have any doubts and that's why he is taking all these meetings. Maybe it's his agent pushing him to take the meetings. Maybe the laker meeting is his agent trying to smooth over his reputation with the lakers after all that embarrassing info leaked yesterday.

Nice. I almost picked that one over the 883. How does it ride?

Bird wants to move Hibbert. Hibbert can opt out. Convince Hibbert to opt out and sign him and West to three year deals equal to t cost of LMA.

Yep. Even better, there's a big advantage to taking that route with the right person. The bonus is that it weeds out the spineless.

    Hibbert opted in.

I bet the Spurs look into trading him into the cap space if Aldridge falls through. Doesn't he train with Tim during the offseason?

I wanted more "growl", but I knew I was going low-end.
The ride is smooth though and city riding is cool. Definitely a local yokel. I'm now wanting something a little more... Ruff, if you know what I mean.

Would be a poor fit defensively alongside Duncan, but Hibbert seems like a Spurs guy. I actually like him a lot...no .

Now Dallas back in the mix? Good luck not playing center on that team, tbh.

Lakers and Heat never made any sense anyway. So either he wants to play for a mid-seeded team again in Phoenix, or get a shot at les here. I can't believe he's seriously thinking about Phoenix unless he's gutless.

Or he could get PAID and stay with the org/city where he spent all of his nine years as a professional.

Nice. The 883 will give you what you're looking for. It's a little on the heavy side but it feels solid all around. The 48 isn't too bad either.

Imagine the story he will tell later on, "pop told me in that meeting not to jump to decisions right away, to take time to listen to all the pitches. We then joked about how they were going to try to sell me, I kept my cool and took my time but in the end it was San Antonio and family that helped me decide. And as I hoisted up the LoBT that same year I knew I made the right decision.
