What is none of the above?
Pop going for 2nd meeting proves 2 things:
He really likes Lamar
Spurs have no plan B![]()
What is none of the above?
Exactly Aldridge should have been the first domino to fall, not the last
Or that they were prepared for this all along and Pop never really had any intention of entering this year with Splitter.
There's no way Dallas could still get Aldridge if DJ chooses to go there, right? I'm a bit worried that them landing both Wes and DJ would make them seem like more of a contender, and could sway his decision...but I'd have to imagine signing DJ to a max deal would take up the remainder of their cap.
Pop going back for a second meeting means he told LaMarcus to be deliberate, take his time, and at the end of it they'll synch back up to answer any unresolved questions. Says to me they're the leader if they get the final meet before he goes off to decide.
A always
B be
C closing
Always be closing, always be closing! Make them sign on the line that is dotted!
What's my name? you is my name
I'm glad you chose to come out on ST.
I think you're right that Splitter was gone regardless.
Correct - it would either by DJ or LMA - but I haven't really seen anything to believe DAL is a legit contender for LMA.
I want DJ to go to Dallas so bad, just for the pleasure of watching Pop send him to the line 40 times a game in Dallas while the fans boo and cry about it.
Amen to that
I want him to go there because that would eliminate LAC from contending, and Dallas even with Wes/DJ wouldn't be a contender.
Trying to take a nap buf I keep checking this thread![]()
The last part of your statement is true. Splitter was gone either way
I'm about to, tbh
I'm going to die in this thread.
I figured, but on another board a Dallas fan was saying they could potentially trade Felton/Harris, sign DJ and LMA, and then do a S&T with Portland involving Aminu/Wes Matthews.
I haven't seen much that would point to him going to Dallas either, but if there was a way they could get him even after adding Wes and DeAndre, I feel like that might change things a bit. Glad to know that's off the table.
siesta break? Demasiadas tecates?
It really is quicksand. Many a good soul was down here...
So Dirk plays the SF, Parsons the SG, and Matthews at PG?
Technically, a few scenarios are "possible" but they aren't likely at all so no need to worry.
