Seems like the West just got weaker overall by DJ leaving Clips and not really putting the Mavs over the top either. Ellis is gone, and Dirk will probably fall off even more.

The Clippers' explanation/blame game upcoming on DeAndre Jordan's departure is going to be interesting to say the least.

CPCancer doing work.
And reards here think he's better than Parker![]()
Even more reason for LMA to join the Spurs.
According to someone on reddit Pop and two other individuals are having dinner with Aldridge right now.
Maybe it's potential sour grapes, but that seems, at the moment, like a bit of a red flag. Lillard IS the leader of that team. He's the guy who's proven that he isn't afraid to take the big shot. If Lamarcus is annoyed by that and wants to leave so he can be adored and anointed the team leader, maybe Phoenix is the place for him.
alrdidge just gained 10 pounds last 2 days
That's not 2 guys. That's Porker
I wonder if the Mavs can land a PG with the assets they have left? That would seem to be the big focus as of now. Not sure if they will be better with Monta/Tyson gone and Wes/DJ in, but they certainly have a higher ceiling now.
Nothing like dinner at 1:30 PM - early bird special at Luby's?
Lunch you mean?
I'm mountain time and its 2:30 here ...
I think Mo Williams would be their best bet; Mo and his family live in Dallas in the offseason.
I get the idea Carlisle is on par with Doc. But who's playing PG for the Mavs next year?
Mavs looking good now from 2-5. Not sure who runs the point though
Okay I am a huge Parker supporter, but that was ing funny!![]()
Oh my god. I'm laughing so hard at this.I almost choked on my food. Holy .
LOL they got FA's to sign again and threw a ton of money at them, hope it fails like usual but I agree 2-5 they do look good. I am sure they will surely find some PG out there? If they have any money left.
While some of it is extreme, most of the complaints are tongue-in-cheek I think. (Certainly my rants have been). That said, there are opportunity costs here, so the feeling of urgency from both the Spurs and their fan base is understandable. We sacrificed Splitter and we're losing depth, but we're sort of prisoners of LaMarcus now because of the cap ramifications. And nobody likes that feeling. It is natural.
In the end, people do what is in their own best interest. LaMarcus feels it is in his interest to make a considered decision apparently. It is his right as a free agent. It is our rights as fans, to about anything we feel hurts our team. And a long wait may very well do that as other key FA's become signed.

or 6-12 ...
But lot of shakiness in that lineup. Parsons and Matthews coming off of injuries. Dirk has to stop and pee every 5 mins ...
