Check SI.com's rankings... in Rnd 2 it goes 6.0, 6.5, 7.0, 6.2 etc etc... then it dips to 2.4 with Harrelson.
Ouch.
SElby is a good pick for Grizz that is a OJ mayo type pick ...
Ambivalence more than anything. I'm good with the Knight pick because he was good value at #8 and it hopefully signifies the end of Rip Hamilton as a Piston and the experiment of Rodney Stuckey as a point guard. Perhaps what I'm happier about is that the Pistons didn't draft some of the guys who were mentioned as possibilities who I thought would have been bad picks for the Pistons, like Biyombo or Kemba or Kawhi. Not that they're bad players or won't be good NBA players. I just didn't want the Pistons to draft those guys. So in that sense, I'm fine with Brandon Knight as the pick.
I don't know what to think about Singler. I think he could be a solid role player in the NBA, but I'm certainly not excited about him.
LOL@$1,000,000 for a Burger King Manager.
My biggest issue with it is that (even though I don't have this kind of inside information) it would seem like the Hornets could have not selected him, and he would have gone undrafted and then they could have just offered him a small free agent contract. Of course, maybe they had the CBA lockout in mind thinking it might interfere with that kind of approach. Still seems like such an odd pick.
We sold the picks to the Knicks for a blank check dude. 1 million bucks!
Lol I bet Donnie Walsh is childhood friends with Harrellson's dad or something
