So many things must go correctly. We still have age on this team. 82 games with no injuries... Who spells our bigs the crushing regular season minutes? Diaw, Duncan, Aldridge, not a young group that we repe ively do +30 a night.

Spurs still need wing depth badly. Behind Kawhi and Danny, we have almost nothing right now. KA will almost certainly play meaningful minutes this year, but he should not be relied upon as the primary backup 3 imo.

Wait til you see him in SL or pre-season to pass judgement. He didn't look ready last year, but year two is usually when players start to surge.

Jesus, I couldn't imagine Portland takes part in this, even for the trade exception. But, who knows? What would be the likeliest outline for something like this?

It is Chinook's idea, but the idea is you give Portland a draft pick or whatever and include Tiago's move to Atlanta and Baynes move (so salaries match) so then we end up with the full MLE and can keep Cojo and pay Manu.

However, it's already been confirmed from insides sources within the Aldridge camp that he's 100% Spur. Deal was pretty much in place prior to the dumping of Splitter. Also said that Aldridge has already purchased a home in San Antonio.
