How does KA put up decent numbers in Austin but not much in summer league?
The D overall has been outstanding. Cady and LJC making life hard in the paint

Kyle strike me as a guy who would help things function when surrounded by good players vs being a guy you should expect to dominate all the time.
I mean, Kyle did dominate the d-league for sure, but I do think he will be functional in a good lineup.
to me, KA looks to pass first and he is a good distributor, somewhat passive on offense
Kyle really isn't forcing anything. He's letting the game come to him. And he's done an alright job playmaking.
KA just goofing.
the +- story to me tells everything..
LJC could be good off the bench. We already have offense off the bench, he would be in there for purely defensive reasons obviously.
First half thoughts:
Bertans: Best player on the court, but that's to be expected since he's been a pro since he was 15 and he's 26 now.
Anderson: Smart, has length, but often gets blown by on D and can't make a damn shot.
LJC: Defensive beast. But a deer in headlights on offense.
Lalanne: Confident. Good Defender. A better version of Ayers.
Only other player I'm intrigued by at this point is Traveon Graham. He was a 3 point specialist at VCU and has already knocked a few down here. We need another shooter since loosing Beli.

Okafor: Wow. He doesn't look that great. Lalanne has basically shut him down and our length has bothered him a ton.
Cady and LJC seem to have great chemistry as a front-court defensive duo. They'll do wonders for Austin next year.
KA will do well with more organized play. It is tough to rack up assists if you aren't familiar with the other players.
If LJC and Lalanne can provide length and quickness on defense, that'll cover the flaws of the old guys.
Not sure what people are expecting from Slowmo. Not forcing up shots and something good has happened almost every time he's touched the ball, that's exactly what you want from a bench creator. He's not a great 3pt shooter, people need to live with it
KA needs more work on his outside shot. Cady ain't shy.
