Seriously, I was here but people have to understand that Fans react differently to loses..There's no right way of being fans. How do you know they didn't watch games? Do they need to post in spurstalk to be Spurs fans?

Just a reminder, 'cause there seems to be too many debbie downers in here. This is a team that won 75% of its games last season and since getting all the current pieces toghether they were even better. They swept two teams in the playoffs and loss to a team that is great but (let's be honest) played a bit over their capacities (f.e: Ibaka going 55 for 55 or something like that, GTFO with that bull )

If the Spurs keep their pieces they will win close to 60 games even if they don't add an important player. Sure, it would be nice to switch Bonner for a player that has testicles but they're still good.

I know what you're thinking: "regular season champs", but you never know. One rival injury here, a Spurs' player stepping up there and you may find ourselves in an unexpected situation.

And even if these things don't happen, being regular season champs beats the out of being Mavs or Suns fans.

Never been a volume poster but I stayed true to ST before and after. Stuck around despite TimVP's flaming of his own site with his multiple accounts. I wished so badly that he'd give up Apolosoc (however you spell it), but still stuck it out. We need the good takes, not the negative stuff around here.

I think there are a lot of us who have been here looking for threads to participate in that didn't involve frat house humor and/or repe ions of insults to other people.

I've been a fan since 1995 and was a season ticket holder from 1997 to 2011. After that I looked around for a place to chat with fans and found this place. Did the politics forum until it just started being unending repe ions of the same positions from the same people. In the last two seasons, it has begun to feel that way around here. Nowadays I check in much more than I participate, but the conversations of the last few days have been reminiscent of some of the older and easier chats. So I have participated more.

Somehow, in my olth, being in the midst of a constant argument with people, on an internet forum or elsewhere, has lost a certain caché.

But except for a period a few months ago, when I left for personal reasons, I have been around seemingly forever.

Nice. Been a Spurs fan since the finger roll days. Been on ST few years now. Contributed when I had something to say, about the team that is. Though I've visited the site almost daily I'm usually not inspired to respond unless the thread is about the team. Missed Timvp and Bruno's thoughts. Depended on ST heavily the past year because I am constantly on the road with work. Cheers to a healthy team and long live Spurs Talk!
