This is a ass move but not the biggest ass move ever. Remember when Boozer had Cleveland void his contract just to sign with the instead?
we already talked about this upstairs. That is Cleveland's version of the story and at the very least they would have been tampering with CBA if true. Not to mention Utah offered $27 million more.

    this is nothing like it.

And it's the fact that you force that team (Dallas) to stop looking.

    That is reprehensible.
Precisely. The lowest of the low.

And remember when Fish did it to Utah. Miller, up there, a man of great faith never even hesitated. "Why?" asked everybody, "He's lying."

Miller= "If so, that's on him."

I don't consider that a move. The Cavs thought they were going to get him to sign a bargain basement contract and he used their greed against them to get paid in Utah.

Lets say for the sake of argument you are right. There is a vast difference between exhausting the process and deciding between options, as opposed to committing to a team then backing out. One is outright deplorable, while the other is having a hierarchy in a list (which everyone does anyways) and allowing things to potentially change.
I never bought that it was 50/50 LA stuff or Toronto, PHX etc thathe had on his list it was ALWAYS Spurs with the Lakers with an outside "puncher's chance" but he wanted to be sucked off and enjoyed teh attention. Again that was his right and it was no where close to this Deandre wafflin' but just saying ...if his heart was in SA why the drawn out bull ? he wanted his ego stroked.

How bout that time Bird was getting ready to leave Indiana so Stern stepped in, changed the rules to get Larry into Boston, then afterward sealed off the loophole. I was incensed. Ready to fight my father (a Celtic fan) over it. But, he whistled the loops with his belt and I let him take me to dinner at Ponderosa Steakhouse instead.

Honestly, this is on DJ. He could've shut this down by refusing to take a meeting with the Clippers and letting them know his decision is final. He needs to grow the up and honor his commitments.

I'm fine with him walking away and us finishing 11th in the West next year.

This is really chicken by Jordan to the Mavericks like this. I personally think they're better off without DeAndre, but man this royally s Matthews too.
How so? He signed first before Deandre was official. I know it looked promising he would sign but he made his own decision. Plus he turned down big money in Sacto ... to follow Parsons ...that's on HIM.

We're always looking for someone to persecute I guess. But this is absurd, in terms of morality, and from a perspective of just flat out being a man. While my blood isn't boiling, it certainly is a stain of the league, and makes him certainly easily to be disliked as a childish attention . If I can call bull , I will.

Y'all tank will be epic with Cubes shutting down Parsons and Wes because the recovery is behind schedule but poor Dirk if true ...
Taking less $ for this ...letting Tyson walk ... this would be epic ...

It's bad for both teams and DAJ if he goes back to the Clippers. Who will take a meeting with him or bother courting him when he opts out again in 3 years? What GM or team will want to deal with the Clippers after the underhanded way they lobbied DAJ after he made his decision? And Dallas is out of options at C and will likely go from the 7-8 seed to a surefire lottery squad if DAJ walks away.

I still think the Phoenix thing was about his agent mostly.

So Cuban gets fined $25k for talking about a deal that wasn't finalized but the Clippers won't get punished for lobbying a player who already made a verbal commitment to another team?

At least you are real Findog I heard the local sportstalk talking 5th 6th seed if the recoveries went well. My guess is that is part of the clips pitch. We got Pierve. we Know how to beat the Spurs you get a extra 20 million to offset state tax ...Mavs still rebuilding we ready to to take on Spurs and Warriors ...

Unfortunately, no. What a sweet set up. Those buttered buns, I'd always eat mine and Girl's there and then at home. A cheap cut of steak, yes, but, it was tasty. A real baked potato, not microwaved. I just knew it couldn't last. And it didn't.
