Then why the heck didn't they pull a Clippers and trap LeBron in his own house during The Decision I? It's been a proven method of keeping the FA you love most dearly. If the Cavs had done this in 2010, we might not have ever heard about his fallout in Cleveland, superfriends, or The Decision Part II. So much turmoil could've been avoided tbh. The Clippers have revolutionized NBA free agency. It's a shame the Cavs didn't, for their own sake.

Cavs didn't do this because it is a franchise run by human beings. After all, Lebron, as much as you may hate him, is still a human rather than a monkey.
