Exactly. And with his wingspan, he could become a beast at blocking shots. Godamn I can't wait for the season to start!

We assume Ginobili's taking the room exception, right?
Pretty surreal![]()
Have you ever noticed how the Spurs have their best off-seasons after disappointment?
They're so conscientious about it when they win -- the unwritten rule is you have to let the same guys try to defend the le.
It's like after a le RC is sulking cuz he knows the Spurs are honor-bound to let the exact same group go for the repeat.
Maybe that's the reason they never do -- they're so considerate of the guys that just won.
Anyway, you could see the giddiness of RC during that presser this morning from a mile off -- and it wasn't because the jokes and banter were that funny.

He could've just finished off a pitcher though.
This has been the most active in Free Agency the Spurs have ever been and the most entertaining of an offseason on SpursTalk
Tony Parker was big on recruiting him...

Agreed. (Though last year celebrating was a lot of fun!)
Baynes took a season or two before getting real minutes.
Best offseason for the Spurs and for ST. We are stacked!
Is he happy to see that guy?
Don't know why he would be . . .
The Apocalyptic Chapel Of Marjanovic
he won
I was referring to Baynes's role in this past season, not the role he had when he first came over.
Chump brought Tiago up, and I think that's a fair comparison. Even with Tiago being 26 years old and having dominated in Europe, he only got 12 mpg in his first season. I think we can expect a similar role for Marjanovic, especially when you consider we already have 4 quality bigs on the roster.
A lot of posters coming out of the closet in this thread...good for you. Be Proud!
Tony,Mcullom
Green,Manu/Mills
Kawhi,Anderson/Diaw, Reggie Williams 2.0
Aldridge,West
Timmy,Boban, Baynes 2.0
I think the Spurs are done treating Anderson and Diaw as 4s. Seems pretty risky. I think there's a considerable injury/slump risk in the bench. Manu/West are going down, maybe Boban. McCullom/Anderson is gonna slump, book it. I don't think Aldridge/Duncan is sooo much of an upgrade over Diaw/Duncan. I especially run my tongue against plaquey teeth, when it sets in that it took turning Anderson/Splitter into West/Boban. All the while, keeping Diaw and Anderson, to play behind Kawhi. And trading in Cojo for McCullom. But the thing about the trades is, there was no trade. hardly any return. just lopsided switching.
Probably shouldn't leave her alone with Tony tbh.
Damn straight!
(I mean, damn right.)
