DE Rahssan Thornton of Killeen Shoemaker tells Inside Texas that he and his father are considering making the drive to Austin this weekend.
Inside Texas reporting TE Peyton Aucoin of New Orleans, LA will not be at "Under the Lights" on Saturday, but he will be in Austin on the 24th.
He is another one on commitment watch.

2017 S Robert Barnes of Southlake Carroll talks about his UT offer and says he'll attend "Under the Lights" tomorrow evening (24/7):
“It’s been crazy this week,” Barnes said. “I didn’t see this coming. I had been talking to Baylor and Alabama a lot, but I didn’t see this coming. It’s been a blessing.”
“I’d been in contact with the staff,” Barnes said. “My uncle actually played at Texas with (Marcus) Tubbs. I’d been in contact with Coach (Marcus) Tubbs (Director of Football Operations) a little bit, and I’ve talked to Coach Strong as well."
“Texas is definitely high up there. I love the Big 12 conference, so that’s a big draw, and staying close to home is important to my family. I know they want me close and want to be able to see me as much as possible.”
“I know the coaching staff at Texas likes my size and that I’m a big target,” he said. “They want me to get down there soon, and I plan on being down there for (Under The Lights).”

Interesting note from Inside Texas...
2017 QB Sam Ehlinger and DE Erick Fowler talk regularly and claim they want to play together.
They played against each other a few weeks ago in 7-on-7 and Fowler took to Twitter aftewards and raved about Ehlinger's ability.
