nah
Anybody gonna catch this on Showtime? Looks like it might be worth a look.
May check it, good cast. I hadn't seen a trailer, thanks for posting. I recently watched In The Flesh on BBC America, it was a new take on zombie shows and pretty good:
About five episodes in.
Excellent cast. Some annoying family subplots but pretty engrossing overall.
Seen the first few. Based on a dad and his sons. None of them look alike at all. One is even colored! Hard to ignore.
Season 3 is starting out good
I've watched every episode. Very engaging/engrossing. If you haven't seen any episode start form beginning on Showtime on Demand.
Hard core violence, boxing, mafia, fame, revenge, black mail, corruption, drugs, alcohol, Hollywood, and family. What else do you want!
Way behind on this one, only finished 1st season
Pros ution, you forgot pros ution
And child musical auditions.
" you, Mickey."
"There's probably like 2,000 little girls just like you going to those auditions thinking, 'I'm Shirley, I'm going to be famous'. Do you know what you all have in common? Ain't none of y'all gonna play Shirley Temple"
That was the best episode of series tonight Tbh...
I tried this show as I'm really into these type of morally skewed shows but this one misses the mark as far as trying to pass off as a mob type show. It wants to be Soprano lite and fails.
I think everything would be soprano light in comparison
Leland Orser always seems to play an antagonist with a logical or moral motivation. Great turn as Father Romero.
But now the SoCal policewoman with an angle from True Detective is going to play....a SoCal policewoman with an angle on Ray Donovan. Maybe she's been playing law enforcement types for years to make up for The Wire.
Very entertaining 2nd half of the season. Micky and Ray have been incredible. Although the teacher and daughter romance is kind of stupid they keep it limited in time.
The crime unit has the same people from true detective lol.
The last episode is getting more involved with Mickey is supposed to disappear from LA. The ex FBI agent is
getting too close now and I see a hole in the desert in his future. I would like to see less of Rays daughter in the
story line. She just slows down the show.......
pretty cool show
you better in watch it
I'm way behind on this show...is Mickey still telling pedo jokes?
Season 4 episode was funny with Mickey lol. Peyote at Buffalo bills
K, I binged all 6 seasons plus the first 4 episodes of 7.
The first four seasons were really good. I think Hank Azaria won an Emmy for his role as disgruntled former FBI chief.
Season 5 was a depressing drag.
Season 6 is a reboot of sorts and comes back to being really good. Season 7 good so far. It's pretty hilarious to look back at how many times Ray has tried to get rid of his dad/Mickey/Jon Voight by means of killing/prison/plane ticket to other country but he keeps popping back up.
Dead.
Showtime axed it.
Along with Shameless and Homeland.
Seems like a budget thing
