One final Euro trip for Tony Parker
MONTPELLIER, France -- Tony Parker has little left to prove, in the NBA or international basketball, but it is the pursuit of history, the San Antonio Spurs guard claims, that will drive him on for the remainder of his playing career.
Trading silver and black for bleu, the four-time NBA champion will start his quest for the second EuroBasket le of his career in the Mediterranean city of Montpellier on Saturday when defending champion France faces Finland in a group-stage opener.

bjelica, pure class. i always say.
Raduljica has seen no daylight against Pau Gasol so far and Kuzmic looks incredibly limited. I hope Milutinov gets some minutes in the second half.
bjelica wants to win gold and to be mvp.

Turkey just pulled a reverse Pop fouling a 13/13 on the line Gallinari with 2 ahead and 7 seconds left. They won.
ergin ataman: "at last offense i felt they would score, their baskets were all difficult so we did foul. we can say coach feelings."
De Colo with 16 pts 7 reb 6 assists
Parker 23 pts
Spain - Serbia (full game):
What happened to France? Seems like Heurteul will be bigger miss than people thought, Parker past his prime and need good backup to help carry the pg position...
French defense was a mess during the fourth quarter, and Parker was clearly tired (and a mess) at the end of the game (Westermann played something like two minutes, just nothing).
De Colo (a semi surprise, he was good in all preparation games) and Batum were good though.
They just did pretty much nothing in terms of training for the 5 days before the start of the Eurobasket because they were scared of injuries after what happened to Ajinça and Diot.
Probably will get better through the next games, as conditioning gets better and Westermann better integrated.
Solid minutes for Milutinov in the first half against Germany, he set some hard screens leading to easy baskets but wasn't involved much otherwise.
what an experience ... I sat way up under the roof of the arena, but the atmosphere was awesome ... losing with only 2 points to Serbia is quite good. great game ... although I did not even realize Milutinov played![]()
Agree. I thought he had great movement, setting solid picks and clearing space. In that respect very reminiscent of Tiago.
And that Bjelica, what a stud. First time watching him.
It was so close ....
Dirk played very good . I want to see a win against Turkey and Italy .
The german team goal is the third place in the group B
Thats the plan! Hopefully the coach plays Pleiß more ... you need to have a little more confidence in your player even if he picks up two fouls early.
Gortat looks short..
he looks like he's 6'9 at best..
