I wonder if OP could enjoy a Spurs Championship if TP would take home another FMVP (deserved or undeserved).
He's actually not a Spurs fan so I assume he couldn't

Tony with great leadership, playmaking and passing with very important scoring run when the team needed it, does he had problem finishing shots once was his bread and butter? for sure and that worry but still was the best player for France in that game... Actually what open the game for France in the second helf was taking out Diaw who Latvia go after his slow feet on defense and then with Fietrus instead France defense come alive...

Spurs lose, Parker plays awful = apalisoc is so ing happy and starts 10 threads to show his happiness.

Defense really was the key in the 2nd half. Parker is struggling at the rim because he lost a step. Having LMA and West will help him because these bigs are able to open up the paint much better than Gobert.

True. Sad thing is that he starts at least ten threads in both cases. He should get a life, imo. I feel for the boy for apparently not having one.

Well mainly because the team won, which is the goal of sports, not box score stats. Dumb ass player fan.

    Porker fan logic.

    Enrique shots 0/21...

Did you even watch the game? ..Those misses turned into bounxes that gobert finished. It's an assist, it just doesn't show up in the stat line.

    exactly

but this does not fit agenda... Boris had a great shooting night but struggled hard in defense

In fact out of garbage time, France build the lead when Parker was on the floor and to a lesser extent Flo Pietrus and surprisingly E Fournier both off the bench

Kawhi Leonard was worst last two games against clippers 28,5% and yet you spent a lot of time defending him

    double standard
did not watch the game but but box score
lying on a sport message board
    game planning
    agenda

Seriously wtf is wrong with yall? So he hit a couple shots in a row, Kobe used to hit a couple in a row too on nights were he shot awful overall. Are you saying as long as he has one small, good stretch in between shooting 29% is fine?

I swear man you Rique s are becoming more and more like Kirbyfans.

I was shamed into watching the highlights! I'll start another thread!

    lol
Actually it came on SC right after I typed that post. 29% is 29%, I don't feel forced to watch anything to know it's bad.

just curious, does watching the game magically make 29.4% respectable? Are Rique s really using that excuse?
What a crock of . 29% is 29%, regardless of the outcome it's a terrible individual performance. The fact that the French NT was able to overcome it doesn't change that fact.

That's weird tho, I've never seen you calling out for instance Kawhi for his 28,4% against Clippers games 6 and 7 with last game with a terrific 13 pts on 13 shots worst than TP yesterday.

Did you qualify KL individual performance during those games as terrible ?

aren't you one of the king of double standards ?

    now raw stat matters

Go back and read my posts at the end of the Clippers series, I had no problem saying Kawhi faltered at the end of the series after his great start. I don't have a problem being honest about any player's performance...why is it so hard for you to admit 29% is horrible? Is the fact that he's your French hero affecting your judgement?

    And win.

When kawhi played bad we lost.
    ...

But we've lost a lot of games when parker has struggled. And also we won some games when parker was good.

you are being dishonest, I've never seen you calling KL performance terrible neither posting in KL threads calling out people defending his indeed terrible performance. Faltered is a cute word tbh... Parker played terrible, KL faltered

btw and contrary to you I have no problem of being honest about any player's performance... I for instane wrote in eurobasket thread: " 4/15 this game tbh... that sucks " or I said after game against Turkey "he basically coasted this game. Against Turkey he was quite bad (1/4 on 2 pts and 1/4 from 3s), 3 TOs... sloppish game thus the interview and questions about his level of play.""

big difference is I don't use words like terrible, disgusting, I don't twist stats or cherry pick stats to fit an agenda... I'm just exposing the constant double standards of your cute krew.

Also I watch the games and when I don't I stfu. Anybody who saw the game realized parker shot poorly but went to the line 3 times, dished 6 assists, scored 2 3 pts, had a bad TS% of 49% but not as bad as saying 29%. Like it or not he was the French best player this game. Everybody who watched the game saw that, you did not watch, you have no clue of what you are talking about... not the first time tho
