This is shameful, even for Texas. First of all, it's a goddamn circuit board. Your cellphone is more useful and convenient if you want to create an improvised bomb. The principal and the cops are utter morons who couldn't tell their ass from their elbow.
And you could forgive them for being idiots, but they had to be bigoted idiots as well. If they were genuinely afraid that it was a bomb, they should have evacuated the school and called a bomb squad to examine the device. All they did was put on a show of cuffing the kid, walking him to juvenile detention and interrogating him in a hostile manner to get him to"confess". Even when they realised that it was a harmless clock, they considered charging him with bringing a "hoax bomb". The kid says it's a clock (which it turns out to be), these imbeciles create the "hoax" that it might be a bomb and then accuse the kid of pulling the hoax. You couldn't make up this stuff.

It's my perception/opinion at this point that this arrest was based on Bible belt Islamophobia because it's in the Bible belt and this kid has a name that allegedly made the cops say "of course it was him".

In the time you found whatever YouTube clip that is, you could have saved yourself the embarrassment of not understanding that he was actually arrested.
