in a well informed and read public, it would have just taught Ahmed not to take bomb hoaxes lightly. But since this thread has demonstrated that no one has read the actual facts that the police determined it wasn't a bomb and they arrested him for playing a dumb hoax, not for a bomb, unfortunately it turned in his favor.

He already told the cops he brought it to show it to his engineering teacher to impress and there was no class assignment mandating to show it. They didn't believe it based on the fact that it had a PCB and it was done to look like a hollywood creation of a bomb.
Because so far, Ahmed was open and told him the intent. He didn't do that with the English Teacher, and still the Engineering teacher was looking out for him and told him not to show it outside of his class.
