West and Butler are bright spots. Patty looks great. Kawhi is doing work. I forget LMA is on the court.
Portland was never a team I watched with regularity on League Pass/Ballstreams. Is this typical LMAction?
I'm not passing judgement on one game of the preseason without Duncan et al., I just don't have a base of LMA experience to draw on here.

It's a glorified scrimmage, the veterans don't usually care(minus Rudy Gay), didn't really expect Aldridge to look great on a team with minimal chemistry, and it doesn't look like he's in optimal shape, yet..
Preseason is mostly for judging the inexperienced/fringe players..McCallum looks pretty ty, so far, for example, as expected..
This first unit doesn't have much chemistry, which is unsurprising since they probably haven't even practiced much together. Patty and West probably played more with the second unit.
Aldridge looks to be pressing a bit, but overall, I'm not worried. First actual game in a new system and has a lot of attention on him...he'll settle in eventually.
Patty, Anderson, Butler all looking solid. West making positive things happen.
McCallum looks ty, and Simmons looks timid.
All said, still the first preseason game, so way to early to really tell anything tbh.
Except that NDoye better be enjoying his 15 minutes of fame.

Mccallum is fine. You don't just become spurs pg in a matter of months. Your boy cojo took like eight year's to be just a backup level. Ray is probably overwhelmed by the new team. No big deal.
Especially with patty healthy, Ray is clearly the third pg. I had my doubts about mills w/o gino, hopefully the training wheels are off with him.
