Im sorry didnt watch but i hate Jalen Rose and his homeless man Stuart Scott style. Without Simmons to feed him lobs I think I would probably hate him more ...he tries to hard to throw in rap lines and R&B lyrics that dont fit.

Clips with their best roster ever? they may be right ... and on paper they have some of the best talent in the NBA but somehow someway all the pieces don't fit.

Blake is one of the Clips I like ... but come on now. Duncan is still a better post defender at 39 ... pnr? Not so much ...
I did like Jalen's fact that CP3 took on average 6 dribbles per possession that he took a FGA which led the NBA by far ... this where stats support what your eyes see CP3 tends to overdribble. He is one of the best i n the world at it but Clips with their talent would be better served if they stooped being over reliant on his dribbling.

Actually some good insights even from that poser Jalen. He loves the Spurs so does Jacoby. Says Pop wont chase the one seed only wants to make sure team is healthy come playoffs. I agree to some extent.
I think Spurs should make sure they get a top 2 seed. Facing the 7th or 8th seed in the West is just one step above a bye. The 7th 8th seed is Mavs as worst case scenario but likely a team like NOLA who the warriors swept last year.
A 6th seed could be a physical Grizz ...they have no shot at beating these Spurs but banging away at Duncan/Aldridge for 4-6 games with Gasol and ZBo could soften the Spurs for the Clips, Dubs, Rox ...
I don't believe Poppovich cares who the Spurs matchup against this year because he doesn't make excuses.
He didnt care last year either how did that work out for them? They pretty much laid down for NOLA and then the Clips ended the repeat bid. Maybe they lose next round anyways ...but I doubt that the 7th or 8th seed last year beats the Spurs in the first round ...
I don't think he cares because the truth is, he didn't get the best out of his players last season. I don't believe they had the aspirations of winning gold because of the satisfactions of events that transpired the past 3 years prior.
If they lose, they lost because they weren't motivated enough. When the Spurs have something to redeem...like Derek fisher's .4 or Ray Allen's dagger, they'll get that done.
The clippers are more boneheaded this year than last. The roster contains merit..but not the perseverance or mettle or dexterity that the Spurs have had for damn near two decades. I'm not worried in the least about the Spurs matching up with them.
I'm a bit worried about the Spurs losing to them because of the athleticism of their front court players. However, the Spurs pushed those very front count players to 7 games. Poppovich will work those stats dry.
Actually listened to the whole thing while doing some homework. I wasn't paying attention that closely but it was mildly entertaining. It's not like you expect these guys to drop knowledge, but they aren't complete idiots like the canadian computer science s in that other thread.

They're not going to go all out in the regular season, thing that we already know. But with their depth they may still push for 60 wins plus.
But 1 seed in the West may go to GSW again, according to Jalen...
Are you kidding? I love Jalen and Jacoby. Plus Jalen drops knowledge as well. It's not like he's a complete dumb brother being put in front of a mic.

Listening to them ...they arent bad together. Still think Jalen tries to hard to be funny but he did well here. But even Jacoby remarked that he was impressed cuz Jalen was so prepared ... never had that many facrs or salient points. But he was good here and maybe he has changed.
Of course Jalen can get scoops he was a recent player who many current players grew up watching with the Fab 5 ...

They would have had to play the Warriors in the 2nd rd w/ Parker & Splitter dragging their legs which would have been a disaster. The Spurs season was over once Splitter reinjured his leg & when it became obvious Tony was a net negative but Pop wouldn't bench him. They also didn't lay down for NOLA, it was Norris Cole who dug in Tony ass & without Splitter there was nobody who could check AD. NOLA was coming on late in the season & could have easily taken a game or two from the Warriors as the first 3 games was a tightly contested.
I have a feeling Pierce is going to mail it in until the All-Star break & Lance/Josh/Crawford/Rivers might be a disastrous bench. Jalen Rose is so ty and off-putting, tbh..while Jacoby has often struck me as a undistinguished try-hard..pass, can't watch without Bill Simmons to make it less the painful..
I normally agree with Venti but overall i dont like Jalen and Jacoby ...jalen is trying to be Stu Scott and jacoby is trying to be Simmons
Love watching J.Rose now... He's legit, for calling LMA to the Spurs before any other pussies did...
