during playoffs I set up everything in the living room and watch it there on TV ... of course I still get very emotional there which could disturb her
Well done, my friend. She should appreciate that. Chivalry is not dead.

Fireball BillMc you two are amazing!

I can't go to bed and then wake up when the game starts tho,so I usually end up staying up all night, which would be okay if I didn't have to study tomorrow
Usually I do the wake-up thing, because if I stay up all night I'm useless the next day. But tonight, as it is kind of a holiday for me, I'll be going out and then coming back to watch the game.

Too much good college ball on tonight. Will probably catch the recording on LP tbh.
Got a real good point there. Or at least flipping the channels back and forth....

Plus I got a feeling that this is going to be one of the games that will be blacked out on my league pass. (I usually miss about 6-7 games a year because of it)

That sucks! League pass blacks out the Spurs games for me up in Minneapolis but I am at the target center watching when they are up here.

Yeah, that sucks. In the 2 years I've had it, ILP has never blocked any games (of course I watch the games on my laptop or Ipad, not TV so I don't get it through my cable company). But when I come back to the USA to visit family or friends, ILP blocks all the games. You can't have ILP in America. I have to get a fake IP address to fool it into letting me watch the games. (Though as I am usually in Vegas when in America, I just go down to a sportsbook and watch the games there.)

Yeah that's why I just watch games on Saturdays or during school holidays...I might try the wake-up thing during the playoffs tho...if we make them of course

If this is still a game by mid second and/or becomes a game again at any point thereafter, it'll be somewhere between concerning and alarming. At home, rested, should have the motivational advantage (considering they're coming off of a loss and have played poorly for the vast majority of the five games and the Hornets are coming off of a relatively impressive road win) and against a sub par team.

Spurs usually look pretty ty in the first half after 2+ days off these days. Plus Charlotte has a couple players that have a history of going off on the Spurs (Batum, Lin, even Kemba these days with Tony so slow). I'm fully expecting a close game until the fourth, if not all the way through.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it's close throughout, either. No one should be, considering 7 of the top 8 players are back and this is now a team that, in a season plus, has struggled mightily (relative to previous standards) to create and maintain separation . . . but none of that is a viable excuse.

    Typical cliche, vanilla take.

Like I said, 7 of the top 8 are back for a team that, for a year plus, hasn't looked like the same caliber team they were. Anyone pretending there's no carryover and thinks this is just about integrating Aldridge and expanding Leonard's role, is either fooling themselves or hasn't been paying attention.

I would expect at least an aggressive Aldridge. Hopefully we tone down on the TO. I expect Pop to continue with a short leash on guys. Should be a fun game the Hornets have played well the last two games but they are not a defensive juggernaut particularly since they lost MKG to injury.
