This league is so pussified......it's unbelievable.....graham was holding the dudes head to keep him from turning around.....
not to mention he had 10+ inches on the defender. If a big guy like that needs extra help from the refs, the NFL should cease to exist. It's like in the NBA when some 6'10" pussy tries to take a charge on a point guard instead of blocking the shot... should be a blocking foul 100% of the time regardless of the "restricted semi-circle".

Would rather have Green Gay in the #3 hole and not seeing Lambeau after the wildcard round.
Doesn't make a difference for the one seed, and tbh would rather see green bay in the NFCCG than a Cards team that looks to be the only team as good or possibly better than us, even though the steelers loss was embarrassing

    They might have.
Would have called different plays with the less time.
Look at the pass to Beckham again. Perfect.
That way Pats must have a t.d. to win.
Full of himself failed to tuck it in. That was one of the main errors, not the playcalling.

You don't know for a fact if Pats would have fg'd or not with a 1:10 left.
If Beckham doesn't drop the pass there the Pats would have had around 2:06 minutes, a TO and the two minutes warning to go for the TD. Almost the same % of chances (if not better) of getting a FG with 1 minute left and no TO.

Seriously, there's no scenario in which you can look at it and justify the decision of passing the ball instead of running.

If the Pats get a FG with 1 minute left and no TO, you just shake their hands and move on with the calm of knowing that you did what you had to do.

It was a high-risk, high-reward gamble but are you going to tell me you have never seen a game winning drive w/ a minute left on the clock? This ain't like Carroll calling a pass at the goal line instead of running it.
With no TO? No, I seriously can't recall one.

And no, it wasn't high reward. As I said above, the Pats would have still had the 2:06 on the clock, the TO and the Two minutes warning to go for the TD. If the Giants would have just ran down the clock they would have had a bigger % of winning.

Week 10 GB is far inferior to what weeks 18, 19, 20 GB would be... Rodgers is deadly if you give him a chance when it matters, tbh...

Okay so you have just stated it's 50/50.

We're not gonna have a choice in the matter. As it stands Cards are the only team which could theoretically challenge us for #1 seed so i'm going to root for Struggle Wilson to do his bull

Yeah, with the little difference that for my 50/50 scenario to happen you just needed to run down the clock and there was no downside (meaning=worst case scenario you get the 50/50, which would be leaving the Pats with a minute to go and no TO to try and get the FG). While with the Coughlin tried he would have got the 50/50 scenario in the best possible scenario for him (getting the TD) and with a lot of things that could go wrong (as they did by not running down the clock, not getting the TD and not forcing the Pats to use their TO eralier). Quite a difference, don't you think?.

    He's doing bull , that's for sure.

    Panthers remaining schedule:

    home vs Redskins: easy W
road @ Cowboys: could go either way, hopefully Cowboys are smart and tank that
road @ Saints: could go either way, Saints are struggling and may be mailed in by then though
home vs Falcons: should be a W, Falcons are falling apart
road @ Giants: should be a W, but can never count out ELIte in a 4th year
road @ Falcons: should be a W, but Falcons could be fighting for 6th seed by then
    home vs Buccaneers: easy W

I don't see Panthers losing more than 2

Romo beat the Giants in Wk 1 w/o any timeouts. With the way Brady looked in his previous couple of drives the old man must have been pretty confident the Pats weren't scoring a TD.

With about the same time the Pats had today. Not with just one minute.

But Romo drove them 80 yards into the endzone down by 6, Pats barely got in FG range

All the more reason to run down the clock.

no question a dubious playcall, but if Manning had held it a fraction of a second longer it would have been the 2 minute warning and the Giants would have forced the clock to wind down to 1:20 or less with no timeouts for NE no matter what.
