Mavs foot speed (or Manu's lack) is keeping him from getting any penetration to speak of. He needs to get a couple of chip shots to fall, to start feeling it.

IMO, this is a perfect West game. I envisioned West being the ass-chewer in games like this. Pop uses him as the tough guy and West obliges. The "I didn't come here for any bullsh*t" sub when guys aren't bringing it.
This type of game basically. Let him come in, do his thing, fire guys up with good hard-nosed play and hopefully pull out some wins with his talent/grit.
Man, we really needed that shot from D West. I'd rather West shoot 3s that Diaw.
Diaw needs to get his head out of his ass and get in better shape. I'm starting to think we should have dumped him and kept Tiago instead. ing guy does not want to get in decent physical shape. He can't keep playing at this weight. The older he gets, the less effective he'll be carrying extra pounds.
Mills has been really poor lately too. Ray is going to need to get a chance with the way Mills has been playing.
