I switched back to the local tv coverage because I just couldn't stand to listen to those jerks.

I think Pop has been showing his ass to the NBA tonight with these line-ups on a nationally televised game, but these announcers are just the worst...making a bad game intolerable.

Stop with this start Simmons stuff - the geometry doesn't work. Need to pair the starters with an outside shooter. Green needs to get his stroke back or else Spurs are in big trouble. When he's hitting, his D picks up and the Spurs are a machine.

Thats not to say I haven't loved Simmons' game tonight. Need someone attacking the basket to spell Manu and Parker.

I think that's a pretty good take. Simmons' game (now that we've actually seen it) fits in perfectly with the blitzkrieg bench team. The team needs Green to come back to life.

I still think Pop should put him in the gym with Chip and not let him out until he's confident in his stroke again.

Lets be honest, both Danny and Kyle got benched this game on account of their lack of effort on defense.

I am sure Ray guarding Kobe to start and getting lit up was not in the plan. That was Danny's assignment that he blew repeatedly I might add and Ray picked up.

Kyle got benched bc of the same thing. He didn't close out a shooter and since he's not scoring or adding much at this point, defense is his calling card.

If you are not going to be scoring, you need to haul ass on defense and hustle and neither guy did.

Simmons showed up to play. He is valuing what playing time he gets and running away with it. If anything the other two should wake the up and increase their level of play.

Kyle is a young guy still learning and rightfully in a short leash and should value these opportunities more, but for Danny it was humiliating. I kind of feel sorry for him. I don't think Pop will bench him permanently or anything like that, lets be real, but it certainly occurred in this game. Let's not kid ourselves.

What do you mean? I don't get FSSW at all. I've got Fox Sports South. My local teams are the Hawks, Pelicans, and Grizzlies. I never know which team is going to come on that channel.

Take tomorrow for example....we play the Hawks IIRC. Even though the game is on NBATV...it'll be blacked out on that channel for me. If it doesn't come on Fox Sports South...I won't be able to watch it.
