I'm talking about choking in the biggest possible moment..

Great QBs love pressure, they would all take the opportunity to be at the 1 yard line in the Super Bowl, with the game on the line and the ball in their hands..the truly great QBs want the game in their hands, they want to control their own destiny..

Wilson had this opportunity, but the pressure overwhelmed him, he couldn't come through for his team..he's the only QB in the history of the NFL to throw an INT from the 1 yard line in the Super Bowl, with the game in his hands..first in history..

Unfortunately, he couldn't handle the pressure..
He's also the only QB i history to be in two SB's in just three seasons. He's also the winningest QB ever.

Dude, kinda over doing it a bit aren't ya? You do know of those great QB's who never won a SB....right?

    Those are team accomplishments, though..

Avante, I know how much you love "spots"..is there a bigger spot than the 1 yard line with the Super Bowl on the line?

How many "third" year QB's are beating a 15 year vet who has already won three SB's, that's the "spot" you look at.

Why continue to ignore..."you do knoiw a lot of great QB's never even played in a SB".....?

In all honesty, if you replaced Wilson with almost any SpursTalk poster, Seattle wins the game, tbh..
if you're talking specifically about the 2nd and goal situation, you may be right.

I knew there were a lot of dumb kids here but this is totally ridiculous.

Dan Marino only played in one SB and lost it. Philip Rivers, Tony Romo, Warren Moon, Dan Fouts, Andrew Luck have never been in one.

How about some perspective here, ok?

Russell Wilson already as a many SB wins as....

    Joe Namath
    Len Dawson
    Drew Brees
    Peyton Manning

    And he's only 26.

He didn't. The dumb threw the ball instead of handing it to Beastmode. Not even Kurt Warner would have thrown that ball in the greatest show on turf pass happy offense. He would have given the ball to Faulk or Lynch (if he was hypothetically on the team).

THE dumbest quarterback play in superbowl history. Make sure you add that to Wilson's resume. No other quarterback has that on their resume.

Kurt Warner? Dude, Kurt Warner only had three seasons where he started 16 games, RW has already done that. And if we give RW, Faulk, Holt and Bruce, guess what?

I don't know if you've realized it yet, but pointing a hole in Avante's argument won't stop him from repeating it. Dude is like a broken record

He has a STACKED team. I don't know why that's so hard for you to understand. There was nothing special about him to begin with and dude just threw a pass that seattle fans will never get over. Much of that falls on Bevell for being a dumb for wanting to run time off the clock as his #1 priority, but Wilson was the one that threw it and went full re .

The guy is very special what are you blind or just stupid? Ever listen to anyone who knows the game and what they all say about Russel Wilson? I've seen them all and RW is the best three year QB I;ve ever seen.

What if completes that pass, now what? Yep...MVP. Come on dude don't act like some dumb kid.ok?

Remember when the Pats got thier ass kicked by the Chiefs. what was everyone saying about Brady? Don't act re ed overr....a....game ok?

Wilson had a choice, he could have said no. He could have changed the play. He did what he was told and blew the game.

The reason I mentioned the Rams is because they'd take a lot of risky pass plays, but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have passed it in that situation, even with all those weapons. Colossal up by Seattle. I'm not even sure a wit like Mike Martz would call a pass play there.

I think the locker room could be fractured from this. It could rip the team apart before next season even starts. And if they make Wilson the highest paid quarterback in the league or give him anywhere close to that, then it's most likely over.

There were 30 teams that wish they'd been in RW 's sport.

Young guy doing as much as anyone ever has at his stage of a career, really nothing not to like. Look how long Peyton/Brees have been around. in two seasons RW matched them in and surpassed a whole gang of gtreat QB's who never won one SB.

    If we take...

    Aaron Rodgers
    Peyton Manning
    Russell Wilson
    Tom Brady

and look at wins/accomplishments/stats in their first three seasons, it's all RW, anyone doubt this?

How about being the winnigest QB in NFL history after three seasons? How about winning a SB and playing in two before turning 27?
so his achievement is to lose against a better opponent?

My point is this.....we have to look at the body of work not one game or one play.
His body of work last night was not good.

Didn't have a completion until the 2nd qtr. Consistently threw balls to bad spots where his WRs had to adjust an make great catches. If he was so great RW could have led those WRs for easy TDs. Oh and his last throw of the game. I'm sure glad the greatest 3 year run by a QB wouldn't be dumb enough to throw a pick with 30 seconds left, a TO and Lnych in the backfield.

If you think RW is the greatest thing since sliced bread, then I have some ocean front real estate in Kansas I'd love to sell you.

Russell Wilson has been historically great lately
The numbers Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has put up the past four games are like something out of a video game. He’s 89-for-118 (completing 75 percent of his passes), with 16 touchdowns and no interceptions after a five-touchdown game in a rout of the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
    Historic effort

Wilson became the first quarterback in Seahawks history to have a pair of games with at least five touchdown passes in the same season. He’s also the first Seahawks quarterback to throw at least three touchdown passes in four straight games.
The Elias Sports Bureau notes that Wilson is one of only three quarterbacks in the Super Bowl era to have a four-game span with at least 16 touchdown passes and no interceptions in NFL history (the other two are Tom Brady in 2007 and Peyton Manning in 2013). Wilson is also the first QB to have four straight games with three touchdown passes, no interceptions and a 70 percent completion percentage.

Is there anyone out there still deaf dumb and blind?

Look at this dumb ....0-2 SINCE CONTRACT......hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!! the fact he's won more games than any QB in history with just 68 games played.

    What a ing moron.

My fav....it's BEAST MODE, hahaha!!!!!!!!! What a dumb ~~~~

Russell Wilson would star on any team under any kind of offense, and that's always been obvious. Why people like this got CN fight it like thay do...???
