We are playing game 8 of that series..

One of the worst coaching performances I've ever seen.

Hacking Jordan as soon as your team is on the verge of blowing the Clips out. Switching after every pick, leaving a guard on Griffin. Benching Belinelli when he has like 30 points and 6 threes. Botched last play by the clock keeper, you have two timeouts but say it and run the same play that failed miserably

Same different day against this Clippers team. Griffin and Paul are hitting everything from outside and Red is getting all he can eat against Kawhi/Danny...I guess this is just a matchup thing.

It seems like ED is rigging the game for the Clippers. They were two blatant no calls where Ginobili was hacked and then there was that play Duncan has post up position on CP3 and got hacked. It's very odd to have 3 blatant no calls in 1 game. He also called that bs foul against Kawhi at the end of quarter.

I agree. That is kind of my point...they were so blatant he might decide to even things out.

Spurs have gotten waxed on several calls tonight, but that doesn't excuse the piss-poor defense.

Just want to note that no matter how many times Tim defies it, I still just expect Father Time to come kick his ass at some point, from which he can't recover.

Compared to Paul Pierce dude looks like a rookie.

They were a lot better to close the half but they had a slow start. The bench helped the team get back in the game though.

That has mostly been the story all season.
We have started slow most games I believe.
I don't think Pop knows who needs to get it going early.

Their two big stars are being matched, for the most part. The difference is elsewhere, and some of that is the refs. Ed Malloy is going to do whatever he damn well pleases. I just hope he is looking at some of the first half bad calls at the half time.

I know pop would rather lose than play a rookie like Boban, but forgetting him, I swear the spurs would be better off with Bonner in instead of West. I can't think of a single aspect of defense that Bonner would be worse at.

Its also a confidence thing too. The CLippers players KNOW they can play well against us...you can tell in how they play and get up for us. While we look scared, indecisive and old against them overall. Its annoying.

He's in the NBA because he's very good at one thing, but he's very one-dimensional. You take away the shot and he either has to pass or drive, likely resulting in a turnover or sorry attempt.

I expect that CP3 will be taking more shots in the second half. Would be nice to have someone make him miss more. WE haven't been awful, but we haven't been great either.
