I'll preface this by saying I know nothing about the details of Sumlin's contract.

However, I've read an interesting theory that this could be a leak from the A&M side so they can potentially fire Sumlin "for cause" by looking at NFL jobs and they won't have to eat the $20 million that they currently owe him.

If they fire him and refuse to pay him, I hope every coach in America see this and makes them pay that coach up front. Aggsy are the devil, and you know what happens when you do a deal with the devil.

Aggsy can't be trusted, they back stabbed the Big 12 and now they are back stabbing their own coach. Granted no one forced them to sign that extension, but they did it and should be held accountable to keep their side of the deal.

And I would say the same thing if it were Texas pulling this BS.
