Can someone answer this question. How many games have we lost this year in which Boban has played?

    Dont be an ass hole.

Boban only plays in garbage time for the most part, so of course he didn't play in most of our losses as they were close games.

Some Nets fans, but there were barely any there tonight. There may have been a dozen people on the right side of the court (Spurs bench) with thunder sticks.

I saw way more Spurs gear than Nets gear in the lower bowl, other than the people working for the Russian at the arena.

Well there's also the possibility for him to play in *garbage time* when the Spurs are on the "garbage" end of the score board, you know... ?

Also, he was in a few close games early, tbh

Games where Duncan or another big sat are the only ones he played in while the game was close.

We have only had one loss by 10 or more points and surprise surprise thats the one loss Bobi played in.

The most recent Timberwolves games was close through the end and Boban played real minutes. Actually outscoring LMA who didn't have a particularly good game. He didn't close out that game, but he played real minutes and was a positive impact player. Many games were like that, the most recent Wizards' game, Td sat as well and the game didn't become a blowout until the 4th Q. He has talent, size, length, BBIQ and is still learning how to play in this league.

Can someone answer this question. How many games have we lost this year in which Boban has played?
I don't think it proves anything, but the answer is one game.

Here's the deal. No NBA team is going to just allow him to keep catching the ball in the paint and throwing it down. He's going to have to learn more ways to get himself into that position. The rest of the team is going to have to learn ways to get the ball to him in the deep post. I know he looks unstoppable at times, but if they tried to use him that way, he wouldn't be. You notice that you're seeing him on the floor several times a game now. The other teams are experimenting with ways to handle him, and they're being physical as for starters. And he appears to only be good for 15-20 minutes right now, and about 6-7 minutes at a stretch.

I almost hate to mention this, but I was calling for the Spurs to sign him back in the summer, before most people ever heard his name. I only mention that to say that I like the guy. I liked him enough to hope the Spurs would give him a shot. I wanted to see him come in against Dwight Howard, but not because I think he could out-play Howard. I think he's big and strong enough to get into Howard's head, if he plays physical against him. I think he could get Howard off his game for the rest of the night. And I really hope Pop tries using him that way, because he's not just big, he's strong.

But I still think that if he had to try and match skill-for-skill against the good centers in the league, they would use their experience to get around him, or to feed their teammates easy looks. I'd just like to see him improve enough to get some legit minutes in the playoffs. And to be developed enough that when the other team throws their starter back in, Pop doesn't immediately have to sub. If that happens, Pop will be able to keep Tim fresh and at his best. And Tim is still the defensive anchor of this team.

    Just my opinion.

Be fair - Boban only played 3 minutes in that game, and the most he had played at that point was about 4 1/2 minutes. One thing he's not is responsible for any of the losses.

I really like Boban. I was just stating that UNT was cherry picking stats by saying Boban only played in 1 loss. Let's be honest Boban hasn't been responsible for victory or loss in any game so far. UNT wanted to cherry pick stats, nuh uh, not on my watch.

Boban was the reason the Spurs won that game. Had the biggest +/- for the team that game and like PER of 30+. And the game against Washington as well. Spurs were having fits guarding Gortat until Boban was inserted into the lineup. Spurs blew the game open after that. And against Philly, the Spurs had a 25+ point lead and it ballooned to 50 with Boban on the floor.

No doubt the guy is an impact type of player due to the reason mentioned in the post above.

Boban had a huge impact against the twolves. I'd say he had some responsibility in that victory.

Boban clearly has an impact with maintaining or expanding the lead against other teams. He's able to score and if he's in position, his defense is impenetrateable.

Quickness is of course his Kryptonite. Boban hasn't figured out how to recover quickly if he's out of position.

However, he's definitely better than Baynes. Baynes got dunked on even when he had good position!
