NEVER seen anything like this. We have had some great teams in the past but I've never seen this kind of sustained excellence. They're an avalanche. The game goes on and if you're the opposition you just get buried deeper and deeper. They never stop burying you until your entire team suffocates.

We didn't make double digits though.

Spurs woke up in the mid-first and have sustained the defense and methodical offense. Just what I noted earlier - nothing to worry about when they play their game. The superior team, over the increasing number of possessions, will usually score more buckets.

Spurs gave up a late 3 in the first quarter, or it would have been 22. Only gave up 19 that quarter. Pistons shooting 36%.

If the Pistons can't score from inside 3 feet, they shoot a percentage. Spurs opened badly, and give the Pistons some credit. But this game is looking a lot like all the others.

Btw, after scoring 33 points in the first 15:21, the Pistons scored 11 points in the ensuing 9ish minutes of play and are on pace for 88 points, under our season average. While hitting a ton of fluke shots.
