No, not at all. It's not about the final score, it's about the personality of the game. We screwed the pooch for 3 quarters and decided to play basketball instead of lacrosse early in the 4th and closed it out. As a result, we cost ourselves a LOT of rest. If we lose tomorrow because of this, I'm going to be pissed for awhile.

Aldridge and Kawhi have 22 minutes each. None of the other primary rotation players have more than 19. L.A. is a six hour drive west. Doesn't matter how much rest Pop wants for the starters, he's not gonna run Anderson and Simmons for 40 minutes. Not when the opponent tomorrow is the second worst team in the league. If the Spurs blow it against the Lakers, it won't be because of rest.

I think what people are saying is that if they Spurs did what you expect, they'd win every game by at least 30. Games like this they'd win by 60.

It's not gonna happen, and they're already sporting the most gaudy point diff we've seen in forever.
