He needed an excuse in June for why he lost in the Finals again.

Adding Love and kyrie helps the defense but kills the offense. Yes, hey stole two games they stole in the Finals but Delly and Tristan were the keys (outside of Lebron) and both would have sat ...Kyrie I think did help them win Game 2(?) before he got hurt though ...
    hmm.

Kyrie didn't play in game 2.

Kevin Love doesn't help any team's defense. What are you smoking? Is this another HH37 troll?

S franchise & s move. This is by far Lebrons biggest flaw and it has cost him many les IMO. He's a egotistical man who wants yes men around him.

I have no issue with firing Blatt. But to show the entire world how slimy & back handed you are by inking a new deal within an hour? Lue better pray he wins it all bc after the stunt he & Bron & the Cavs FO just pulled good luck getting any coach to want you around. Snake in the grass ass coach.

It doesn't really have much to do with basketball, tbh, nothing is going to change in that respect..

Lebron is the most influential Black man on the planet, in regards to empowering his race, tbh..he's just continuing the movement..hopefully he trades Love soon, too..
Well that. There aren't different human "races." We're all the same race.

Is that really what this is about??

I wonder if Screamin' A. Smith is going to come to Blatt's defense like he did when the Bucs fired Lovie Smith.
He was just on ESPN and supported the firing. Even defended Lue.

BTW Ramona Shelbourne is a disgusting fat walrus. No idea why ESPN continues to put her on TV tbh.

Blatt got scapegoated, his team destroyed the Bulls last year that everyone thought would be a series, they then swept the Hawks in the conference finals. Then in the finals put together a valiant effort in a series they were not going to win when Irving went down.

More pressure on Lebron now, when they find themselves in trouble in the Eastern Conference playoffs, Blatt will be the one laughing. He made the east look like a joke last season, to the point, as average as the east was, it wasnt that bad to the point that it was completely un compe ive. Reminds me of year one of the Heat, Heat rolled right through, but the next year found themselves in trouble against teams that were very average at that point in time.

As if LeBron wasn't carrying the team on his shoulders. Blatt's biggest contribution was taking the seat to the King when he changed the play he had drawn up, and getting lucky that the refs didn't call the idiotic timeout he was trying to call with no TOs

The amount of laughable spin by Cavs GM in that presser was quite something to see..Tyrone Lue is now Phil/Pop-level of taking no chances in the coaching department ..

My issue with Blatt is that he did not seem to take the Alpha role and discipline Lebron if he did not follow the Coaches instructions. What did Blatt really have to lose? He got fired anyway.

It's fine to listen to player feedback and involve them in some decisions, but once the decision is made, it's final.

Agreed..no doubt that an element of back-stabbing involving Lue here..He clearly seized a panic mode moment (the Warriors blowout) to pull off what he was planning on doing sometime in future ( HC promotion)..

Incredible scenes.. Finals appreances + top record in conference season after (Top 5 offense/defense in spite of missing key player to injuries at start of season) = pinkslip

King James has been the coach since day one. David Blattstein's biggest contribution was almost losing in the 2nd round last year by trying to call for a timeout the Cavs didn't have. King James took his bull inbounds play and designed the game winner for himself
