But but but muh point differential

hilarious
Spurs win 108-95 to go to 38-6 on the season
Manu. ing. Ginobili.
If Anderson doesn't have the confidence to shoot the wide open 3 in a blow out regular season game vs the lakers then he has no place in the playoffs.
Simmons can definitely score, but his defense is disappointing. Russell tonight and a couple guys on Phoenix were scoring against him pretty easily. Wasn't he supposed to be some sort of defensive specialist?
Pretty mediocre showing...oh well, on to GS

Spurs now have 10 streaks of 13 games or more in franchise history - tied for the most in NBA history (Celtics).
Spurs fans might not be ready to deal when our vets retire TBH. We have not witnessed young players struggle to get better the way they do elsewhere.
Kawhi has immense talent, and even he was allowed to develop for 4 years b4 the franchise was turned over to him, and he still has a lot of help.
UNT might bomb somewhere when our vets retire and we have to really develop guys.
Kyle Anderson is absolute garbage
doubt we get a second round pick for that scrub. I swear if
plays him against GS.... Rest in Piss
All in all the Spurs looked pretty pathetic tonight tbh. Couldn't guard the rim to save our lives, never really had a consistent stretch of good defense. Against the 2nd worst team and 2nd worst scoring offense, no less. Very worrisome for us indeed. Tonight showed that we're a second seed and the Dubs are a clear #1.

He's supposed to be athletic which is good enough to make you an above average defender in the D-League & All-Defensive team member if you play hard against mediocre talent.
Was as at the bar with my gf so didn't catch much until the 4th but I liked his defense... I don't expect him to be kawhi but he competes and Denies the ball.
Our 3rd unit has played well last night, not so much tonight. Meh, who cares.
Agreed. People think of him as D'Bust only because of the expectations that come with being drafted so high and in his particular case, ahead of Porzingis. I will swap the Lakers Anderson for him in a heartbeat.

The Spurs have outrebounded their opponent in the last 15 straight games - tied for the fifth-longest streak in the last 30 years.
Counting moral losses as losses... Spurs now fall to 31–13. So, one game behind the Thunder and 2 behind the Cavs. Still in the race, but not good.
At least he has a lady admirer on here. More than most of the rest of the roster.
He's still developing. He's taken some 3s that were bad shots to finish quarters and stuff like that. I don't expect him to make those. But yea, he needs to keep getting pushed to be aggressive.
