Turnovers led to an avalanche but we can't play any worse you get the feeling the score should be worse than it is. A lot of unforced mistakes and easy shots missed.
When you look at the numbers, the bottom line is that the Spurs got their asses kicked in the paint. That's supposed to be their advantage over other teams, and they just got beat 32-18 in the half. Curry made 3-4 threes, but the rest of the team is 1-6 from the arc. It's the weak-ass play in the paint (both ends) that has killed the Spurs.

Are you watching the game. His help rotations are ing garbage. We losing because of him.
Either this is gonna be an awesome comeback win, a comeback that falls short, or the ass kicking continues and should light a fire under their ass and keep them focused going forward...
agree 100% ... in SA it will even out.
Manu +1
Simmons +3
Butler +3
Only guys in the positive with starters in double digit negative...
My point is that they won't go to Barnes on more than 1 or 2 occasions on the mismatch, though..
Kerr specifically discussed this strategy, last year..he's not a fan of stubbornly attempting to exploit a mismatch like Mark Jackson attempted to do with Barnes vs. the Spurs in 2013..
It's just a difficult matchup for the Spurs' PGs..both Livingston and obviously Curry..
He pushes with the forearm as the post player goes for the shot. It should be an automatic foul.
No. Cleveland just quit fighting at some point, not the spurs, we still have a shot at least
Relying on Mertesacker
Arsenal
Kawhi needs to get more involved. Since our guys forgot how to pass the basketball tonight, I'm all for more Diaw/Kawhi post ups
truth nuke
Steele, I know you hate Anderson, so this comes from the heart.
If the veterans are going to show this terrible a game. . . scratch that, and then lets watch some guys who are developing and its justifiable for them to struggle as they are still learning, have a terrible game. Maybe they grow a pair, since they are young and/or rookies and/or new and can find an edge in themselves to learn something this game even if it is a loss.
We have players guarding certain GS players who should never be guarding those players and our double teams have been and a horrible idea against GS.
Honestly, the Spurs playing without any pgs is why I wanted Jarrett Jack vs a GSW matchup. We need more size at the pg position and the 1st half made that abundantly clear.
truth but he is getting some of it back on the other end ...
In that 2nd qtr alone for a stretch of about 4 mins I counted about 8 straight layups/dunks...
On paper, I agree, but he torched him in the 1st half..
Obviously there isn't much you can do, though, Curry is the best PG I've ever seen
Livingston destroyed the Spurs, too, though..some of that was against Manu and Simmons missing rotations, though..
A victory is to win the 3 and 4 qtrs. Not to concerned about the final score at this point. We need to start figuring out this team for the future
I still can't believe the Spurs aren't down 30. I'm not sure they could play worse if they tried.
If we lose though, Pop will get to pull out the ol' "We're soft" speech. Probably a good wakeup call in the end.
yep, and he was the was we had the most doubt about...![]()
Yeah but he is giving up 2 for every shot he makes.![]()
, I told you he ing sucks and you said you didn't mind him. Who's laughing now![]()
But that's the thing about Parker. Any fan that's followed this team long enough knows he'll have games like this where he will start of trying to play up to a personal matchup...if it starts well for him then he'll remain aggressive...but if it falls flat out the gate he will then curl up in his little s and remain invisible the rest of the game to show face...however he'll have already ed up our rhythm by that point. Its annoying and he's done it countless times.
