not really, unless the Warriors win by like 1 tonight
You're making a strong point here. I was just talking about the SAS number. Are Houston and Dallas about to lose by 60 between them?

Strange how LMA has no trouble with the bigger Howard (remember Portland playoffs in '14?) but let a little sucker like Draymond push him around.
    Because after this:

    You can't take Howard seriously.

Houston for sure since they have matched up horribly against GSW for a long time now

He Honestly distributed the ball so much better than Tony did and got teammates in rhythm, as well as passing good shots for better. How I wish this team would get a true pg. We pass on so many easy buckets wig the limited court vision our players have. He made some plays on defense but was inconsistent with it. Drew some fouls and was active with his reach as usual. A couple times he just took off to the wrong side of the court and left his man all alone. Liked what I saw though.
Passing is his best asset. That and size/length are his real NBA skills. Our starting unit without Tim looked discombobulated and nit just against GSW. Every time Timmy has sat they don't play well as a unit. I wonder if that was the one thing that made Pop consider him. Since really splitting up Diaw/West leaves the bench big s too undermanned. That Lakers game with Diaw at center and either Kyle or Rasual at the 4 was a disaster in defensive rebounding. I don't think you can separate Diaw/West unless you insert Boban and Boban against a 3 pt shooting team was bound to be trouble. At least he helped. That's all that matters, and keep getting better. The Tim injury wasn't CIA Pop.

So how the do we beat the Dubs when TD is gone for good? Huh? We have to find an adequate replacement.

I actually think one of the biggest things missed with Duncan was a distributer. How many oops and entry passes have we seen him make so easily to Kawhi and lma? Duncan has always been such a great distributer, it didn't bother the spurs that Tony wasn't. Without him in the first unitx there wasn't someone to get those easy plays and watch his team evolve through a play. Duncan holds the ball and watches the screen.. when Tony has the ball he watches his screen man and the rim and nothing else. Can't have that anymore. Kawhi and lma need more touches both.

He kept trying to go through draymond instead of over. His game is over their heads, not through. Draymond us small but stout with quick feet. Once you have position low, it's easy to keep a man out the paint as long as you have decent strength. His weakness is his reach. LMA went over him once and made an easy shot. He should have that all night. He took that more often tonight. Needs to stick with going over them. Pop preaches inside out, but lma is much better outside in. Shooting, and crashing boards.
Very good point. Let's see if LMA adjusts his game next time we meet the Dubs.

Kyle Anderson started because Houston went small with Howard at center.
Had a hot start. Like 16 pts in 3 minutes. Tony did some hero balling and things slowed down. Kawhi and Danny were raining threes...and kawhis jumper us looking very nice again. LMA was very agresive on the boards. Competed all night. Had 14 pts, 4 rebs and 3 asts in 20 mins in the first. LMA definitely came out to establish himself and the entire offense looked much better with him getting an increase in touches. Everything came much easier with him collapsing the defense. They were doubling him on most plays after he started jump shooting. His early inside game wasn't working too well on Howard, but they couldn't contain his outside game.
for LMA I am so glad he showed guts. Must have been pissed off with how much he sucked and let Raymond punk him. Also, so glad Danny came firing from the get go.

Not having Duncan in close game situations kills us because we're always good for 2-3 guaranteed easy buckets down the stretch with him being the distributor from the high post. (Usually Manu or Tony is on the receiving end)

LMA finished with 25 and 10. So worst player ever.
Stats aside, how did he play? Did he show some nasty?

Yea that was weird. They went to the finals..and he was in the East. Unless its the best team in the west, I don't see why you would leave the East.

I don't think so. We don't lose to that 5'10" guy who got his ankles broken in the Finals by another 5'10" guy who wasn't ever good at basketball.

Hopefully we have another season of Timmy, but if we don't Kyle will need to grow up.
There was a thread someone made charting the influence of players in others. Kyle was a negative in the bench and a positive with all the starters from even the early season. I agree with you the ball stagnated with them and Kyle was a good influence. Meanwhile the bench already had too much passing and unselfish guys and the guy they missed in Marco provided a lot if scoring for them, so Kyle wasn't a good fit for them. Definitely Tim does a whole lot more for us than just defense. He's very unselfish and a glue guy. Kyle US that. We won't have Timmy's D but at least they git rolling early and cracked this thing open.

    Happy fir our team...

Like others said Gsw left a sour taste though. Not even my guy helping us in this win has made me less upset about that loss. I hope we take it to them next time we meet.

Cavs will be on b2b after playing in Detroit ..so there is a chance even without TD, but LMA needs to man up..

Cavs have been playing some godawful teams of late. Barely beat the Wolves and then beat the Suns comfortably tonight, but the Uns are the worst team in the league. Meh.

I don't gamble and I still find myself sweating it out down the stretch when the opponent is approaching 100 points. That's all we have to look forward to in 90% of games.
