not bad for someone fat and undersized to be leading the league in triple doubles.
That is a good point.
Still none of our two forwards are good passers (Kawh/LMA). In Portland Aldridge had 3 deadly shooters in the perimeter and he still didn't average a ton of assists. I don't think Kawhi would either. They just have different games. I have to give it to Raymond, he's a gifted passer, but passing needs good players to flourish. Look at our Boris, in the mediocre teams he wans't good, and I consider Boris a more naturally gifted player, because his craftiness and creativity is unmatched.
Playing next to a superstar doesn't make you a system player
Were Parker and Ginobili system players all these years?
Kawhi has no unique all-time talent at his peak for a teammate making him look good..Dude averaged double double in an NBA Finals at age 21 while two Hall Famers shat the bed when push came to shove..
no, but i wouldn't call them superstars either. i think there is a line between superstars like Duncan, Lebron, Shaq, Kobe, Curry and winners like Tony/Manu, Wade, Pau, maybe Draymond.
Mo Williams was an All-Star during Lebron's prime... just sayin'

We need to practice and get better with lesser teams. We arent where we could be, I think thats important to remember. The SL is a chemistry problem that can be solved I feel. I think Kawhi is fine, its Parker and LMA and both needing the ball to feel effective is where the chemistry problem lies. In the end it is LMA that should get the ball and if hes succesful it opens things up like running the ball helps the QB. We need a dangerous scorer to anchor everything. As for Parker, he needs to be more of a floor general and as a relief valve if passing the ball around doesnt work.
As for Aldridge and assists, that doesnt mean his passing didnt help. Its getting the pass out quick and passing it around before the D can catch up that matters.
Also our 3 pt shooting used to better so believe that it can come back after everybody finds their roles.
Everythying needs to be more decisive and quick and confident. Our earlier success masked a problem that still needs to be corrected and we can get a second wind
Take Curry away and see how well Draymond does. Put him on, let's say Portland for example. And they would have the exact same record (maybe a couple extra wins). He benefits from playing in an unbelievable system...put him on a team as the 1st or 2nd option and he is just an above average forward...
Nah, he was never a realistic option..Warriors would have never let him go, tbh..
They have the best player in the NBA and the 2nd best PF in their prime, it would be foolish to with that..
Obviously he's playing in an environment that is conducive to having success. But anyone who says he's a "system player" and acts like he wouldn't be able to have lots of success elsewhere is clueless
He's a DPOTY-caliber defender who can guard positions 1-5. That will go with him wherever he plays, and that alone makes him extremely valuable. Throw in his playmaking abilities (again, something that he'll bring to the table no matter what team he's on) and his solid 3-point shooting (put him on any team with a halfway decent playmaker and he'll be able to spot up at 3 and spread the floor out)...not sure why people think he'd only be good on GS.
No playing alongside Curry makes things easier. It almost always helps in basketball to play alongside other talented players. Draymond might not be able to carry a ty team in the playoffs, but he's damn near the perfect complimentary player on any team and he has the impact of a superstar. People get so caught up in this argument of "Could X player carry a team by himself?" and that really shouldn't be the whole basis of the argument when it comes to judging players. I'd rather have the perfect 2nd option than some overrated volume scorer who might be able to take a team from 25 to 35 wins.

his numbers with cleveland were no better than his numbers with milwaukee. he just got a token spot like LMA did this year.
raymond's numbers are ridiculous
and mo got selected to the all star team cause bosh was injured. also, other all star reserve guards for that east team included devin harris and jameer nelson![]()

OK Gaymond is the best since MJ, lol he isnt... just a bigmouth loser living at expenses of Curry and a watered down league.
Closet Warriors fans at it again.
The stats are very similar except for the assists...Green is a better defender though but undersized.
