I love this. He clearly looks lost in certain sets and rotations on both offense and defense, is a rookie, missed training camp due to an injury in the Euroleague finals, and he's playing in probably the most complicated offensive and defensive systems in all of basketball.

    You should coach little league.

You sure read a lot into a little.
You sure lack the ability to address anything with something other than a blanket dismissal. Care to attempt to dispute a fact? I'll even enumerate them so it's easier for you.

    1) He looks lost in certain sets on defense. Particularly now in horns and in helping the helper.
    2) He is a rookie.
    3) He missed training camp due to a bone bruise.
    4) He plays in an extremely complicated basketball program.

You should look up what it means to infer. Those are all observations that you fail to address.

Did Boban get cheapshotted in the neck a 2nd time in this game?
118 - 97 a minute left and #12 Jarnell Stokes seems to elbow Boban on a rebound attempt.
Boban went semi sprawling and at the other end held his own throat for a while.

Still tops, but I disagree with the "all," and making the minimum the mere 295 minutes to eliminate two Spurs Marcus Williams and Ian Mahinmi, and this years Clipper Jeff Ayres:

For single seasons; in the regular season; from 1946-47 to 2015-16; requiring Minutes Played >= 295; sorted by descending Win Shares Per 48 Minutes.
    .339 1952-1953 Al Cervi (339)
.301 1968-1969 Rick Barry (1361) (As a Spurs fan, I will not discount the ABA).

Marjanovic compares better to the excluded Cervi.
OTOH, Cervi is a Hall of Famer.

Boban against the Kings had best +/- of the team:

One observation about this game, Boban seems to run better this time around. If anything, this guy is the Spurs secret weapon!

He definitely look a lot better out there defensively. His D on the pNr improved since the last time he had any substantial minutes, which it seems like more than 2 weeks+ since he gotten any meaningful minutes. And his D on Cousins was great. Cousins was killing Diaw and West, but Boban was shutting him down. His length and strength were noticeably bothering Cousins, who I think is the best offensive C in the league.

    Cherry picking the minutes:
    basketball-reference.com
For single seasons; in the regular season; in 2015-16; played F-C or C or C-F; requiring Minutes Played >= 330; sorted by descending Offensive Box Plus/Minus.
    1) 3.2 Boban Marjonvic
2T) 2.5 Chris Bosh, Nikola Jokic (the backup center on the Serbian National team)
    4) 1.7 Karl-Anthony Towns
5T) 1.6 Al Horford, Greg Monroe
    7) 1.1 Demarcus Cousins

    17) 0.2 Boris Diaw

33T) -1.0 Tim Duncan, Dwight Howard

If minutes were cherry picked to 120+, then:
    1) 4.2 Matt Bonner

When did he play for Serbian national team? I hope he does play. If he continues to play like this he will be by far the best Serbian player.
