"L.A. coach Doc Rivers sent a double-team at Leonard almost every time he touched the ball on the block."
Porker blew a layup & got swatted by JJ Re at the end of Gm 7

Getting out jumped by a 35yr old though?
That's gotta be it. Explains why Stephen Jackson was our best SF in the 2012 run
On defense the three players are interchangeable at the 2 and 3 like Allen guarding Durant. But what makes them versatile on that end, kill the Grizz on the other. Memphis' unbalanced post-centric offense has been an issue this season, and the trade doesn't help. But at least, the pick is a good thing .
GM Doc is absolutely awful.
Wesley Johnson is a better player than Jeff Green and has been playing really solid basketball since Griffin went out, tbh..knowing Tom Rivers, he will bury the former in favor of the always overrated Green..
Spurs with Parker leading the team in WS: 3 x ZERO le
Spurs with Kawhi leading the team in WS: GOAT season in franchise history![]()
Wes Johnson has been coming off the bench & will continue to do so. Jeff Green is going to start over Pierce who has no business being a starter in 2016.
DJ/Cole
Blake/Pierce
Jeff/Wes
Re /Rivers
Cp3/Crawford
Doc will most likely start Pierce/Jeff until Blake returns to the lineup.
WSreaching for straws at this point tbh lmao
Since Kiwi entered the league:
Parker leading scorer = 1 le
Kiwi leading scorer = 1st round exit
Johnson has been playing nearly 30 MPG, as of late..since Griffin went out, he's been averaging about 26-27 MPG..
Jeff Green has split his minutes at PF and SF, this season..
With Pierce on a maintenance plan and expecting to receive increased minutes in the playoffs, along with Griffin's return, I bet Johnson will go from 26-27 MPG to about 15 IMO..if you think Tom Rivers is going to bench Pierce in the playoffs, you're trippin', bro..
Absent when the Spurs closed out the Blazers
Absent when the Spurs pulled out a gutsy win against OKC
1-11 in the first 3 quarter of the championship clincher then padding his stats while Kawhi was on the bench writing his MVP speech![]()
Wes Johnson shouldn't be playing more than 15 minutes in the postseason. Dude is the type of cat that shrinks in the postseason ala Terrence Ross & shoots 20% which is why he has been an underachiever his entire career. Jeff Green is cut from the same stone but he's more talented.![]()
Some of these teams are just dumb. So if u can't compete for a championships what the are these teams thinking. U don't want to be in the middle. U either want to be having a real good shot at winning a chip or just bad, no middle of the pack. These teams that should've made deals just to get rid of contracts for picks because they stink is Houston because Howard is walking without anything in return after season is over, Atlanta,Houston,Milwaukee,Wizards, knicks so basically only like 10 teams should be improving their teams and the other 20 teams just stock pile picks and take chances on players that don't get playing time on good or great teams. Horford is gone or he will sign with Atalnta for max and the team will stink again like Joe Johnson did years ago. These bad teams just sign big contracts and still stink and will always stink. Brooklyn Nets should've can Brook Lopez for real good draft picks. Brooklyn could've got their pick back from Boston,David lee expiring and some other picks and could turn that horrible franchise around in 3yrs but this franchise is going in the direction of Knicks for years. Ill gurantee u that Howard walks with nothing in return, Horford gets a max from Hawks and the team still stinks or he walks and nothing in return. Grizzlies should had a fire sale after their position and gasol done for year. Conley will be in horford situation if he stays with max, team will be the same and still stink, or he walks for nothing. Just put Cavs in Eastern Conference finals for the next 5yrs. U can't say that in west. Warriors,Spurs, thunder and clips will always have a real good shot every year. Boston is an interesting team in east. If they get a star player like Durant, love,or star caliper player in summer could be a real good team. Got brooklyns 1st RC pick and if added Durant would be nice. We need compition in east badly like west meaning championship worthy.
I wouldn't want him playing more than 15-20 either, but if the alternatives are Jeff Green and Pierce, I'll easily go with Johnson..
Green is going to play 30 MPG for them in the playoffs, and Pierce will get at least 20..
I've never been a fan of Green's, but he's one of the most criticized players of the past few years, so I don't see how he's "overrated", at this point.
He makes sense for the Clippers, both now and going forward, presuming they re-sign him, as I'd imagine they intend to. He balances the roster more (still lacking a true third big, a perennial issue) and he makes it more difficult for teams to hide their point guard defensively. Sure, they're out another 1st, but it's a ways off and their time is now. They're not winning the championship, but they've made themselves incrementally better.
I doubt Aldrich is in their playoff rotation. Griffin will probably double as the backup center, with Green/Pierce the backup power forward, depending on who starts at small forward.
All off-season trolling aside, it really is nice that the Clippers lost Matt Barnes..he wasn't anything special, but still, his hustle/energy gave the Spurs problems..
I would like to see a confrontation thug grizzlies vs warriors in the first round
Tony Allen, Barnes, Stephenson, Z-Bo and Birdman![]()
Jeff Green has played well under Doc & was the Celtics leading scorer in the 2013 series against the Knicks. He's better suited as a starter than coming off the bench b/c you don't want him trying to go ISO which was the Grizzles mistake.Wes Johnson is an energy guy & can play off the bench although his game will suffer b/c he needs someone like CP3 to create for him. (Doc has to have either Cp3 or Blake with the bench unit to make it work)
TheGreatYatcht forgets that Kawhi also dominated in the first 4 games of the series, averaging 24 ppg in 60 FG% and Barnes was playing for the Clippers in those games too.
But I try not to reply him, he wants to ruin every thread on ST trolling and hating on Manu and Kawhi. His "Trade Manu, he doesn't have the balls anymore""Kawhi ed by Barnes"
are so boring
