Iverson has a pretty good bonus that was supposed to kick in any time now. Or already did.
Can't remember if it was some delayed shoe bonus or what, but it was plenty to live on.
Not saying he won't foolishly blow it like he did the rest.
Hope his baby mama(s) were finally able to collect.

Iversons wife could have gotten all of his 32 million Rebok trust money, due when he turns 55. She decided to give him half.
Look at the agreement he signed.
Don't know the details; but it's possible that creditors would have laid claim on that bonus (or a big portion of it)....
In the case of Mike Vick, he had something like that; and creditors sued him after the fact for the money and won....
These dudes get caught up in the lifestyle and have the mind set of "balling" or showing off. The humble dudes who don't need to flaunt don't go broke.

And I thought Pippen broke was a mistaken iden y thing. He sued over this.
The article basically insinuated that he lost that all or most of his playing money but is doing relatively well after the fact all the same. Apparently, Barkley lost $10 mil of it from gambling. Another part of it was a crooked financial adviser....
Uh, I don't know Pippen's deal. The article said it was murky; though, it did mention he spent $4 mil on a private jet and another mil fixing it and never flew in it.
Having an entourage, giving out cash willy nilly, cars, and a portfolio overloaded with properties not paid for seem to be the standard recipe for disaster; particularly when mixed with serious partying.
and hiring a white "accountant" to manage your finances because you're too gangsta to worry about numbers.
