Batman V Superman: The Showgirls of superhero films
AOU was very mediocre.
Det liberal Media
it was disappointing but I'm sure BvS is much worse![]()
A of U was a 75% at rotten tomatoes.
I didn't like it as much as the first, disappointed with Ultron, but I thought it was a solid popcorn flick.
It wasnt bad,
But that emo hipster Whedon for ruining Ultron
that was perfect![]()
That movie just needed Ultron to kick more ass. He didn't really do much ass kicking I wasn't convinced he was ever a threat. Other than that, solid flick.
Zack Snyder: "I’m a comic book guy and I made the movie based as much as I could on that aesthetic. And so I don’t know how else to do it 100%, so it is what it is."
And so I don’t know how else to do it 100%, so it is what it is.
daammmnn. it's almost impossible for him to come back now and do the Justice League![]()
should've been under 50% tbh. that reeks of disappointment. ultron became a text book Disney villain type of character![]()
reviews from DC fanboys are coming out, most with disappointment
Up until a few days ago, I was 100% positive about this film.
For three years I have defended everyone involved in this film and maintained this would be the film DC fans had been waiting for.
Please don't see me as someone who was lining up with the bat.
Without even the slightest bit of hyperbole, this movie broke my heart insofar as a movie is actually capable of doing that. I have never been do disappointed with a film in my life.
Outside of maybe The Winter Solider, hasn't that been every Marvel/Disney movie? They been using the same template since Pirates of the Caribbean. General likable characters who don't take themselves to seriously, clever one liners, high production values, and you can kill a character off once in a while Lion King style but don't make it to scary.
Don't get me wrong it works, I'm still going to see most of them and I'm looking forward to Civil War.
Going tonight. Will observe and report.
that movie was bs, expecially that nuke bs changing pw every second or whatever it is stopping ultron from accessing/encrypting into it...u talkin about ultron here who should be faster then whatever super computer they are using, yet cant even hack into it
Shall I try to explain this to him or does someone else want to take a crack at it?
Got some texts from some people who went to check it out. Says critics are s. Fun movie. Will see tomorrow. And Bene needs report back.
Overall I enjoyed it. It could of been better written but all the actors were outstanding. That was enough to carry it past it's flaws imo. If you come looking for a Marvel movie you'll be disappointed. Has a completely different feel.
And for the record, if Affleck is my favorite Batman so far. He owned the role.
I'm going to watch it at IMAX since there is actual IMAX footage in it, but never expect a totally objective review of a superhero movie from me.
I think Rotten Tomatoes shouldn't be used as a good measuring stick, since Sharknado has an 82% score on there![]()
Where did you go see it?
