Yeah, I get the logic and between him sitting out plenty of games and not playing much in plenty others, it's probably more important he play and attempt to build confidence, but it's still another slap in the face, in a sense.

I don't get sitting Ginobili. Even though he's shot better lately, the same logic should apply to him. Besides, I'd imagine he's not playing against the Mavs anyway.

I'm probably one of the very few who isnt really too worried about reps. I think the first round should be enough games to get players like TD some burn. The first round is against a ty teams

Nuggets have bigs that will rape Bonner & West can't protect the rim. Considering Boban is foul prone, need Tim as an insurance.

Still, they can't afford something along the lines of what happened in '14. Then, they were fortunate that a 1st round caliber opponent was waiting for them in the 2nd round, thereby allowing them to quickly dispatch of them and recoup the rest between rounds 2 and 3 that they should have had between rounds 1 and 2. That will not be the case this time.

Tim will get some play and everyone will bump every "Tim is old" comment ever made. When he disappears in the playoffs because he cannot move any more, it will fall deathly silent in here, like someone just stepped on your graves.
