playing at home & needing OT against the Cripples 2nd stringers b/c Pierce is also having a throwback game like Timmay. (Trying to keep up on the scoring list)

Yes, he was fine until crunch time when he didn't know what set to run b/c Pop wasn't calling plays.
    Its Parker at point.

Patty and Manu 2nd team handling off each other.
This obviously is not our strength but you must live with it.

Should be one of the worst executions to close a game I have seen from the Spurs.

They were playing for the other team.

Oh well, at least it was meaningless, but they spoiled Timmy's vintage night.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaa, Jazz need to stay 8th & Cripples backups needed a confidence booster. Worriers aren't going to have a cakewalk to the WCF.

Or without Parker but let's be real.
It's clear. He is running chop step down the court.

    He did it all night.

The Pistons game from last season was just as bad & you also had Gm 6.

That was absolute clock management. The Spurs inbounded with about 40 seconds - perfect 2-for-1 opportunity. Instead of letting the ball bounce all the way to mid-court, Patty picked it up and dribbled it across. That ate up 4-5 seconds that could have been the difference in getting a good last look. Of course it didn't matter, since he coughed up the ball anyway. But part of the reason he coughed it up was because he was trying to go early - which he wouldn't have had to do if he hadn't wasted that time.

On the last possession, West let the ball bounce all the way to mid-court before picking it up. HE knew what to do in that situation. Patty is supposed to be leading the offense when he's out there. By now he should understand 2-for-1 situations and clock management better than that. Bad execution is one thing, but stupid play is worse.

Yeah looks like the 4/5 matchup is now set with the Clippers vs Blazers. We are getting either Memphis or Dallas now with Utah's loss is a long shot now. Mavs have been playing better basketball lately, but think Thunder or Spurs still sweep them and Memphis. GS is going to get either Utah or Houston, which they will win either series but not the most desirable.

Really praying the Blazers keep the 6th seed. Memphis has zero chance against OKC but the jailblazers should make it somewhat interesting. I also want a rested LA against GSW. Its highly unlikely but every spursfan at this point should hope for Griffin to get back his early season form.

The Timmay, Captain, Simmons, Miller and KA lineup, made the run, Pop got cute and KMart wet the bed and Patty added 0
Good summary. Kyle bad shooting night but he wasn't throwing away the ball. Patty/Kmart terrible connection. Frankly I though maybe if Kyle handled the ball at the end out of those 3 we got a shot for the other two who are shooters not PG.
    This was
He really wanted to get the experience for Patty and Martin in this one.

Was really hoping the ing Blazers would get the Thunder. Think that series would be more interesting. I wonder if Blazers rest their players and tank the last two games and try to get the Thunder as they match up better with them and also have two wins over them this season also.

That would be silly on their part since they havent clinched the 6th seed yet. Avoiding SA and GSW is probably top priority for these guys.

I agree think Griffin can get his rhythm back against the Mavs or Grizzlies and would be a quick 5 game series against either teams. Trailblazers have a Minny and Denver the last two games, maybe they think they can upset the Thunder as they beat them twice this season, and matchup better & stay away from the Warriors if they would end up upsetting LA.

I think they're the 5th seed right now with Memphis lost tonight. I think they can afford to lose both games to finish no lower than the 6th seed with 2 games left for them.

I'm not sure, but CJ and dame would be a nightmare for that okc defense that is awful defending the penetration. They also have Aminu to cover durant. Dude is one of the top 5 SF defenders in the league. ED davis can also ball.

The perfect scenario for the spurs is to for Memphis to stay at 5th to give LA the needed reps for Griffin and still win easy against memphis. Blazers at 6th for a possible upset against OKC. Jazz at 7. And Dallas at 8.

I was debating between Jazz and Dallas, went with Jazz because I dont want to give gsw practice against a slow paced team that relies on an SF and A a PF to score. Its basically good practice before facing the spurs.

You're right. They are 5th. Thats terrible for the spurs :sad

Looks like everything is lining up nicely for GSW. Still, LA is 4th and thats what matters. Go Clippers Go.
