If such is your 100% certain view then why waste time watching the playoffs, or for that matter, posting on this board?

No your basically worshiping a rival which is pretty stupid. I don't respect people who concede early before a playoff series happens that a loss is a sure thing. I can't recall spur fans worshiping Kobe and Shaq during the early '00s even when things looked bleak even after '01. But then again you are a probably a bandwagon jumper.
Yeah I am worshiping the beauty of basketball, and not being stupid because my team is second best. This is one of the greatest teams in NBA history. And its not the Spurs, I can accept that. You need to accept the fact the Spurs are probably not going to beat them. Bandwagon? Yeah something like that..You don`t have a clue. Maybe because my post count is low? That determines everything when coming to being a fan right? Yeah it sucks, cause the only team that can beat the Spurs is the Warriors, no one else could.

Kawhi has now dropped down on my list. Too many times this season when a team has really focused on him, he's been average offensively. I can't put him in the top 3 anymore with his offensive struggles. Curry, KD, Lebron and even Westbrook I'd put head of him at this point. He scrapes in at 5th.

He's going to have to show me a lot more than the garbage he's shown me tonight and against GSW in general. Lebron ing put up huge numbers against these guys last season when he was gassed and with the entire GSW team focused on stopping him. Kawhi is nowhere near that level. I'm not even sure I want to even let him try as I'm thinking it would be better to make LMA the focal point on offense.
Kawhi definitely needs to be better.

    IT'S NOT ING MEANINGLESS

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE ONLY TIME!!!
That record would have gave us bragging rights. Bragging rights = meaningless.

Warriors announcers bragging about having more talent after the win.
Umm they basically do, that is why they are 73-9

You cliff jumpers are pathetic. Now because of one loss where we didn't show our full hand we suddenly won't make the WCF? Cry me a ing river.

No breaking the celts record ..
    No 1 seed ...
    No road mental edge ...
Went small with no Tim still lost.

Just a regular season game but it meant something to ...
    Pop.
    The fans.
And most of all your mentally unstable self ...
    You need a hug, UNT?
Thanks for actually coming in here during the game. I like getting a different perspective from non Spurs fans that aren't trolls.

I have no idea why fans are quoting the Lakers record. It doesn't mean anything in regards to this game.

The only players that seemed to understand how to play this game were Aldridge, Ginobili, West and Anderson. I sure hope we can convince Leonard that he can be better than a fourth option, but it is clear that Aldridge needs more shots and leonard less.

Its really sad but i dont get what happened to Tony Parker, maybe Manu and Tim are exceptions but i expected him to last untill he was 34 at least, he became too old too early, i wouldnt put too much of this on the FO because i also thought that his contract was maybe 1 year longer, not all useless.

One of his worst games of the year, tbh. I have seen some month-by-month stats showing the ascendance of LMA. I wonder month-by-month what Kawhi's season would look like?

It isn't meaningless to have records like the home record that Spurs had. You guys brush too much off as meaningless with nonchalant approach. At least the Spurs now have the best record of any home team in a season. They deserve that. It would shown the flawless dominance at home to go undefeated however.

Now that the home record is lost, shut everyone down last two games. Let LMA's finger heal.

Still give us a very good chance against the Warriors, but have to admit, this game was depressing.
I thought we had good moments. It was a close game until the 4th Q when we know, that wasn't a closing games out line-up for us.

Ice, you're a bit emotional. Kawhi definitely stunk tonight, but it's hard to play winning basketball because honestly the Spurs have the worst backcourt of the contenders in this league (Parker, Green, Mills all trash). It's a frightening thought if a 39 year old Manu Ginobili is our savior against the Dubs.

This team at its peak had Kawhi as a Finals MVP against the original best player in the world (LeBron).
I am a bit emotional, but I really don't like relying on jump shooters. Kawhi is primarily a jump shooter and I think that's why it's easy to take him out of the game when the defensive pressure is on him. When he starts getting a lot of defensive attention, those shots don't seem to go down. I don't like rolling like that. I feel a lot more confident in LMA's shot than I do Kawhi's.

I agree. While I'm by no means happy with the loss, it doesn't tell us too much how the playoffs will go with this team. In 2014 OKC was a nightmare in the regular season and we beat them in the playoffs. Pop makes adjustments, players learn each others' moves, we'll see.

I agree with this. I would really love the Spurs to get a legit 3rd option, guard in the summer. Not sure if that's realistic but right now, it's what the Spurs need for the future.

Yea.. but trying to bait a team that's having a pretty good year seems a bit off to me
    Im not baiting.
I was just commenting i rarely come up here until the playoffs ..but this game had a playoff atmosphere.
And i dont need to bait ... the cliffjumpers in your own fanbase is out in full force.

Looking at the whole line, his numbers would beat every other team but against this team, that's not cutting it and we don't have a reliable third option to bail him out when he struggles. Ultimately, Kawhi will get better, which is exciting as but unfortunately, we might have to wait for that next season.

Spurs have to hope Chris Paul injures Draymond like he did Ibaka back in 2014 then.

Why the do the Spurs struggle to score against the Warriors so much thus year? I just dont understand
They are forced to play at a SLOW pace, which means going up against a set-defense thus they can't get easy shots nor any rhythm. (Isolation offense kills the team offense)

TD will not move the needle much in this matchup since a lot of their scoring is transition and perimeter shots, but Dias does make a big difference settling our offense down. I hope he's recovering well bc we need him.
Diaw might help, if Determined Diaw plays rather than Coasting Diaw. That's a big variable and he is a bench player, to boot. He is not the difference maker.
