    In any other year, yes. Considering 6 teams (including the Ws) have ever finished with more wins than the Spurs' 67 (and with a similar point differential) though, that changes things.


    Also, Leonard got 84+41+4 = 129 votes. Looks like there were 130 voters in total (Draymond 121). Who was the lone voter who didn't have Kawhi 1-2-3?

    The only reason kawhi got less 1st place votes than green last year was because he missed games

    This season kawhi's more healthy and the spurs had the best defense in the regular season

    Legend! I kinda thought they would give it to Green just because of the Warriors record. Great accomplishment for Kawhi. He is without doubt the scariest defender in the NBA, nobody would want to be up against him.
