i started a thread after the 2014 playoffs iirc... regarding durant getting a free pass for the same lebron got crap for. don't think much has changed. they'll continue to blame OKC's cast, coach, etc.

It wasn't worse than the 2014 Heat and 2012 Clippers, tbh. Anyways, that supporting cast took the Spurs regulars to OT on the road so i'm thinking this is probably a slight exaggeration.

The latter part of your post is irrelevant(hundreds of examples of bottom-feeders beating/competing with great teams, including historically great teams), but it's pretty easy to make a statistical argument re: OKC's supporting cast, especially with Ibaka's decline..

The 2014 Heat were far better after their top 2(not even close, really), and the Clippers were probably better, as well(although they were a 5 seed IIRC, so they weren't a top-seeded team anyways)..
