And at Rube Mitch criticizing Spurs fans for being kind of happy (no one is really celebrating the injury, just the increased odds it creates for the Spurs to advance). If this happened to Kawhi, Kool would've already made his 10th thread gloating about it, with Mitch, Luva, and a reinvigorated Culburn fresh out of the reading room sucking each other's s in each thread.

"But don't you want to beat them full strength"

Injuries are a part of the game, ing gots.
It's not like we actually win anything if the Spurs win it all. I'd much prefer both teams to be healthy, and to have a compe ive 6-7 game series.

I won't complain, or lodge asterisks, if it means Tim has a better chance to go out on top, but the playoffs will be a lot less entertaining without the best player in the league.

Serious question: If this ends up being a season ending injury like a torn MCL, will Curry be able to return to his 2016 regular season form? I mean his game doesn't really rely on athleticism but I have no idea how these injuries work.

MCL isnt a very big deal long term, its nothing like an ACL. That is of course assuming he can keep from reinjuring it when he returns. If you can make it a few months after returning, the chance of reinjury drops dramatically.

We might've done it, Dabom. The gambling curse works!

If Golden State doesn't advance to the WCF and the Spurs do, you down for the same bet against the Clippers?

We might also have to bet on the Spurs/Thunder. That series makes me nervous. Maybe a friendly 50.00?

I don't know. We should beat the clips though.

I never wished an injury to a player tbh... not gonna start now. I think he will be fine but Clips serie is gonna be tougher for them with maybe Curry missing one or two games.

For the rest, GSW and Kerr are paying the price for chasing records. I believe they should have rested him more this season especially this year where except Spurs, the rest of the West was crap but no it was let's get 73 wins, let's shoot 400 3s...

Dubs were net-positive with Curry on the bench against Clips, Spurs, and Meth. They're still the favorites.

According to a person with knowledge of Curry’s situation, the early fear is that Curry suffered a sprain in his medial collateral ligament during his second-quarter slip. The person spoke to USA TODAY Sports on the condition of anonymity because an official diagnosis has not yet been made.

The Warriors won’t know for sure until Monday, when Curry is scheduled to undergo an MRI. But if those fears are realized, it could be quite some time before he is playing again.

Yep. It was clearly either that or an engorged patella.

It's gonna be 6-8 weeks before he can run normal again. Forget about playing him anytime soon, unless Kerr wants Curry's leg to fall off. This is on Kerr and management! With the record and how deep GS is, there's no way Curry should of been playing more than 30 mins a game during the regular season.

I agree that they overused him but it was a freak injury and probably didn't have much to do with all of the minutes he played.

Didn't stop the league from hyping up the Warriors. , with a healthy Splitter, the Spurs may have won the West. Injuries suck, but they aren't anything to cry over. GS has plenty left in the tank to make a good run. They're ceiling is just lower now than SA, OKC and Cleveland. They're about equal to Miami.

LOL, Miami blows, they would win in 5 without Curry. Golden State is on the Clippers level now imo.
