Great post...when Manu, TP, and Duncan see this it will become the rallying cry for the team...and you'll have saved the season for them!!![]()
As I sit here on a Saturday afternoon, waiting for my girlfriend to get off work to go do something, I find myself extremely bored. Nothing on TV, no one online to talk to, my mom is asleep because she works nights, my uncle is in Houston for the Astros, and my brother is out with my cousin.
So, I decide to ponder some stuff online. I watch some funny videos, and then I get the urge to go to YouTube and watch some videos.
And I found one that made me believe.
As the playoffs near, only two weeks away, our Spurs will be tested. They have been lackluster all season, but they still have the second best record. As Tim Duncan prepares himself and tries to get better from his injuries, we start to see the Tim of old. Yes, Tim Duncan has put up two bad games, but he put up back to back 20 points games against the LA teams and started to score 20 consistently again. Tony Parker is determined to keep his All-Star play up, and Manu is regaining the will of a champion and beginning to play like one. Robert Horry is waking up, and Michael Finley is getting comforable. Brent Barry is hitting three's, and Nick Van Exel went 4-4 last night from 3PT range.
This team is starting to come together. They did lost the previous two nights, but considering how bad Tim played last night, as well as Tony, we only lost by 6 points. It took an on-fire Dirk and Howard to beat us.
I know when those playoffs start everyone is going to forget the regular season. The Spurs don't need HCA in the West. They will most likely get it, but they don't need it. Once the playoffs start, the fans will realize that. We're not catching Detroit. Our Spurs will have to prove they are true champions and win on the road, which I am confident they will.
And if you need any more convincing, go to YouTube and search " San Antonio Spurs - Road to the Championship", that's all you'll need.
Go Spurs Go! Believe.![]()

I wish i could be as optimistic but i couldn't disagree more. This team looks the same as they did several months ago. Tim is at the mercy of his foot, Manu can't find no rythm, Finley and VE can go games without contributing, and what exactly does Horry have to wake up from, he's probably been the most consistent. Let's hope the Spurs get it together in the next 7 games
Great post.
They are professionals.
Believe
Yay, optimisim.![]()
Awww man, it only works if Timvp starts the revolution. You jumped the gun a little too early Texasballa.
I looked at the Spurs record for April 05: 6-5, but included the 2 B2B 2OT Ws, without Tim, and on the road, which I think went a long way to galvanizing/testing the late-season Spurs into a Championship state-of-mind and confidence. NBA.com has taken boxscores off last season's scheudle so I can't see which games Tim played.

***starts a slow-paced clap***
See, our performance alst April wasn't amazing.
I believe...
and all you so called spurs fan who start ing a whining when like this happens.
Your true colors really show when the spurs seem vulnerable.
Go ing root for the Heat or Cleveland or some .
Seeing that game on friday and seeing how many mav fans there were, made me sick. Absolutely ridiculous![]()
You really need to chill. You've been on this forum for almost a year... you should know by now that people vent their frustrations after a loss like this because we are incredibly spoiled by a team that has been championship caliber for many years. If you don't like what you read, don't open the thread. You're acting like you're some kind of victim.
As for the amount of Mavs fans at the game, you can't blame Spurs fans for that. If all of the fans here in SA had the money, they would all be season ticket holders and you wouldn't see an opposing team's jersey within the arena.
I believe
Go Spurs GO!
I believe!
Go! Spurs! GO!
I BELIEVE!
This is the bottom line. Case and point. The Maverick's knew it would take one of an effort to beat the Spurs. And that is cause this Spurs team isn't even 100%. All these losses will soon be forgotten once the playoffs roll around.
Holy , that gave me chills. IT'S BELIEVE TIMEAnd if you need any more convincing, go to YouTube and search " San Antonio Spurs - Road to the Championship", that's all you'll need.
Where's the link to the clip?
ive believed in the spurs since day 1
I believe the Spurs stole a hundred bucks from me at the Kings game, wednesday night
To the guy who started this thread............Amen brother we need more fans like you on this site. I Believe.
I believe Kori said not to post links to videos, so just search it with what I told ya.![]()
GO SPURS GO!!!
WTF??
Since the Mavs are 100% and all...they're just missing a starter who's their 2nd best defender and their backup PG that plays at the same time as Jet some too... (and KVH, but most Mavs fans are taking that as a positive hit to the playoff roster)
