No..their compe ion has been historically bad, so far(and I'm not a Warriors doubter, as you know)..
Plumlee sinked them. He was cucked with some bad calls but he was clearly overmatched. Sad for the Blazers bc they came out with a lot of effort but they need to improve their frontcourt to compete with the elite.
Warriors are indeed terrifying .

Think they'd lose to the Cavs tbh, and maybe the Spurs if their roleplayers showed up.
They aren't my guys. I'm just an advocate for them. Golden State has already won a championship and shown their quality this season. What makes a 11 point game something to worry about when you set the record for being the best team in NBA history.
I haven't even watched any of their games recently to be honest. The Warriors Spurs series is inevitable.
I want both teams to meet each other in the wcf healthy so there can be no excuse from both sides.
2013 Finals Splitter status![]()
I'm honestly scared of the Iggy-Vending Machine Head matchup
Tough to get anything going when the team have no inside presence bc of Plumlee. Every shot was contested for the most part. IMO Plumlee killed them. Watch the quality of shots Klay and GSW shooters got vs Blazers. Very hard to get good quality ball movement with Plumlee TBH.
Steve Kerr has proven himself to be the ultimate boy.
Portland was the 5th worst team in the NBA at defending the SG position, btw..they were also tied for the 3rd worst 3-point defense in the NBA..even ignoring that they only made it to round 2 by default, they are the perfect matchup for the Warriors without Curry..
son of a .... i had a parlay of Blazers moneyline and the over paying 8 to 1. it looked good until plumlee got the ing ball lol
Except Livingston is better than Patty/Porker combined![]()
Yeah, just got got caught in the moment a bit.
Still, I don't know how they can be this good without Curry. Bunch of flawed players out there:
-Thompson is only good coming out of screens.
-Livingston can't shoot beyond 18 feet and was playing in China not too long ago.
-Iguodala got better but he isn't a reliable shooter either.
-Barnes is a solid role player but not much more than that.
-Green is a beast but he's very streaky as a shooter too.
I guess the system and their confidence being at an all-time great level helps a lot.
*Checks notes on post cards in his pocket*
"Yes..that's was right. The system answers to no one."
Yeah, just saw that sentence before posting my reply to harlem and rob, and started laughing.![]()
Plumlee actually ended the game +5. Call it an anomaly or whatever. He however had 6 turnovers which is about 33% of team turnovers. CJ McCollum and Mo Harkless going 1-5 from three was major and they ended with the two lowest nets.
Manu is going to be guarding Iggy & Fat Head will probably be on Livingston when Pop isn't letting him postup Patty.![]()
Like I said, Plumlee Bonner.
Warriors really could use a veteran big to take over and calm the team in situations like this. Someone like LaMarcus Aldridge.
I meant not sitting down the lineup that helped you regain momentum and riding with your best players the entire fourth quarter with four days off afterwards.
Plumlee was +5 b/c of the 1st quarter & him being off the floor during the latter part of the 4th quarter.
Spurs aren't winning a game in OKC.
He must have had a huge positive from the first half when they came out doing well but he completely melted in the 4th.
In essence, this. Plumlee also played less than 30 minutes; 28 to be exact. Bonner has a excellent overall net positive in the regular season in limited minutes and did so throughout his career here in SAS. The Blazers have no major scorer outside of Lillard and CJ. They have no interior front court scorer. The guy on the bench, Miles Leonard is too soft in the post for them to go to him.

The hatred for Golden State has been centered around this modern generation's Pippen, Draymond Green. His antics on court which are excessively passionate are backed up by his play. All this hatred and no one has realized that Draymond Green has earned his right. He's a champion apart of a legendary team. No one can't truly tell him . This still doesn't put him above being called for his moving screens or technical fouls. I also believe Draymond provokes fan's internal racism. The way Green flexes his arms in excitement after plays all with his mouth screaming all types of possible obscenities just would do that. This is a San Antonio forum after all.
And to add, can you truly hate Andre Iguodala, Shaun Livingston, Maurice Speights, Leandro Barbosa, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Bogut, Fetus Ezeli, Harrison Barnes, Leandro Barbosa, Ian Clark, Brandon Rush? I've never heard some these guy's voices. They don't talk. They just play. The hate is exclusively centered around Draymond Green which is why his twitter mentions blow up during games.
Every team should wish for a player like Draymond Green who talks and backs it up. The magic...truly......desperately needs a guy like that. Atlanta, Toronto, Indiana, Chicago; all perennial mental midgets now because they never had a player who could talk and win games. Lance Stephenson was the only one who came close....now look at him. Not even relevant.
So Curry doesn't have much impact he is like MJ, but not as good
