What's the story? Link?
Haven't seen a thread yet on this guy, so what do y'all think?
Is he telling the truth?
Does Tressel have some skeletons in his closet?
Why did a smart guy like Robert Smith decided to pipe up on this?
Or is this just another ploy to keep his name in the spotlight?
Personally, I think that it's half truth, and half bull . Major football powerhouses aren't squeaky clean, but this smells funny. Just too over-the-top, asking for someone to blow the whistle. I'm sure boosters slip star players cash, especially when they know the guy's in dire financial straits. But hundreds are a little easier to hide than thousands. And fake jobs are everywhere. I remember the rumors in Austin when I was at UT that James Brown was paid $30 an hour to play video games in the office at a car wash. What do y'all think?

I saw on ESPN.com that Tressel had a similar problem when he was at Youngstown State. Interesting.
That kind of stuff happens at every major university in DIV I football!! Nothing knew here.
What's the real shame is that the NCAA will never have the balls they had with SMU ever again. The morons that run that organization realized that that kind of sentence is not a penalty and that it is truly a "Death Penalty"
