Quarter by quarter, each team is fairly even. The main difference has been their role players stepping up and simply hitting shots. That plays a big part in them looking better.
It'd be nice if West and Timmy could hit the midrange j to keep those gots honest.
LMA is the last piece here. His misses were key for both our taking offense and OKC's good start. If he gets going, Spurs in great shape. Have to play with that level of energy the entire half and bury them early. Come out shooting and focused.
The effort was there on defense the whole time, but then not on the rebounding, but they recovered.

I'm just talking about big picture stuff. Look at the pace of the series. Look at the shots they are getting. While OKC is making shots, Spurs have been better because they have dictated how the series goes. If they made shots at a better clip it would definitely be 3-1 (or if OKC Others didn't step up so damn well same thing).
It's been a close series because of shot making, but Spurs are the ones who have dominated the personality of the series.
I have not lost all faith in Duncan, but I do prefer the LMA-Diaw combo. Diaw can space the floor and handle the ball well, and we need a big to do that.
The main difference is that Adams and Kanter don't have 4 fouls each, like they should. Spurs lead points in the paint 26 to 14. No matter how it feels, the Spurs scored points in the paint. They just didn't get the whistles. It changes the dynamic of a game. If you're getting whistled, you have to back down a little on defense. That hasn't happened to the Thunder.
